Construction Tops Off On The 22-Story 72 Park Condominium Tower In Miami Beach

Construction has topped off on Lefferts’ 22-story luxury condominium tower 72 Park. The developer celebrated the topping off of the 220-foot-tall structure on Wednesday, September 13, which stands prominently at 580 72nd Street in Miami Beach. Designed by the renowned national architecture firm Built Form with interiors and landscapes by Urban Robots Associates, 72 Park will be the first new luxury tower on Miami Beach to permit short-term rentals, encompassing 206 units ranging from 470 to 1,177 square feet, as well as 10,000 square feet of prime, ground-floor retail space. Stiles Construction is the general contractor, and G&E Florida Contractors is the shell contractor, with completion slated for the Summer of 2024.

Urbano Co Proposes 14-Story Mixed-Use Building At 901 East Sunrise Boulevard In Fort Lauderdale

A Site Plan Level III application has been submitted for De Parc, a 14-story mixed-use development project located at 901 East Sunrise Boulevard within the Lake Ridge neighborhood of Fort Lauderdale. The nearly 149-foot-tall project is designed by Built Form Architecture, with YH Consulting Engineering as the structural engineer, and developed by Urbano Co, led by Fort Lauderdale-based investor Felipe Yalale. The proposed development covers 2.29 gross acres (or 1.68 net acres) and is set to include 274 multi-family units comprising 141 studios, 85 one-bedroom units, and 48 two-bedroom units. Additionally, the project will feature 5,235 square feet of ground-floor commercial space and a 4-story parking garage providing 369 spaces. SLS Consulting is listed as the project’s life safety and code consultant, KEITH as the landscape architect and civil engineer, and Luseo Engineering as the MEP engineer. Lansing Melbourne Group (LMG) is the owner’s representatve.

FAA Issues Building Permits For 432-Foot-Tall Structure At 488 Southwest 1st Avenue In Fort Lauderdale

FAA Building permits have been issued for work on 488 Residences at Riverwalk, a 38-story mixed-use building planned for 488 Southwest 1st Avenue in the Tarpon River neighborhood of Fort Lauderdale’s downtown corridor. Located one block south of the New River and bound by Southwest 5th Street on the south, plans for the 26,291-square foot property call for a 580,873-square-foot structure containing 362 dwelling units, around 6,000 square feet of retail space, and 363 parking spaces. Built Form and Tabanlıoğlu Architects designed the current publicly known iteration of the building. The developer is an entity linked to Colorado-based real estate investment trust UDR, Inc., which purchased the development from Ellis Diversified, Inc. in 2022 for $16 million.
