Connecticut-based Belpointe is working on an apartment complex in St. Petersburg, FL. The project, which our sources have called “Viv,” will comprise two 15-story towers. Together, they will offer 269 studio to three-bedroom homes.
Communal amenities include a fitness center, swimming pool, and club house. St. Pete Rising reports that the complex will also include “the construction of a pocket park on the east side of the project.” Aside from the residential aspect, plans call for 15,500 square feet of commercial space, along with a 355-spot parking garage.
Construction is currently ongoing on Viv, and it’s expected to end in 2025. Google Earth’s renderings show that prior to groundbreaking, the parcel was vacant. JE Dunn Construction is the general contractor.
Viv will be located at 1000 1st Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL, 33705, in Pinellas County. Viv isn’t the only multi-family housing development happening in St. Petersburg right now. Recently, Florida YIMBY reported on Reflection, a 200-foot-tall tower offering 88 condos and 2,800 square feet of retail.
Sitework started in 2022 and the tower topped out in 2023. The first move-ins could take place in July of this year. Reflection is a three-minute drive from Viv, currently unfolding at 777 3rd Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL, 33701, in Pinellas County.
