Gasworx W2 is undergoing construction in Tampa, FL. The mixed-use seven-story building will comprise 390 residences, ranging from studio to two-bedroom floorplans.
According to Multi-Housing News, the venture will offer more than 273,000 square feet of rentable space, with in-unit amenities including nine-foot-high ceilings, quartz countertops, and cabinetry with built-in lighting. Future residents will also enjoy the communal fitness center, swimming pool with cabana deck, and rooftop bar/terrace.
In addition to the homes, plans also call for 9,700 square feet of ground floor retail, along with a seven-story parking garage with space for more than 480 vehicles. Completion is planned for the third quarter of 2026, and a $70.8 million construction loan is making the project possible.
Cresset Real Estate Partners, KETTLER, and a private individual are the project’s developers. Juneau Construction Co. is the general contractor, and Torti Gallas + Partners is behind the project’s design. Per BLDUP, Gasworx W2 is part of the larger Gasworx, a massive mixed-use venture taking shape in Ybor City.
Upon completion, the 50-acre project will add 5,000 residences, 500,000 square feet of office space, and 150,000 square feet of retail. It will also “connect Tampa’s historic Ybor City with the Channel District and the Water Street development.” Gasworx W2 is located at 1502 Nick Nuccio Parkway, Tampa, FL, 33605, in Hillsborough County.
