Villa Pass, a modular home complex, is currently under construction in Mascotte, Florida. Ground broke on May 3rd, with Texas-based Onx Homes leading the venture. It purchased the 40-acre build site for $15 million in 2023.
The first homes will be move-in ready within 30 days, as the “work needed to be done at the site is very minimal.” The fast turnaround is due in part to locally sourcing materials from factories in Pompano Beach, Homestead, and Florida City.
According to the Orlando Business Journal, future residents can choose from four different floorplans, specifically three-bedroom and four-bedroom designs.
The one-story and two-story homes range from 2,150 to 2,484 square feet each. Sources indicate that each home is customizable, allowing homebuyers to choose a façade and roof lines. There are also three amenity packages to choose from.
Homes at Villa Pass start in the $380,000s. Villa Pass upon completion will offer 200 residences. Most of the homes will be made of concrete, allowing them to withstand Category 5 Hurricanes, although powerful hurricanes in the region is historically uncommon.
Onx lists the address of Villa Pass as 6462 Chorus Drive, Groveland, FL, 34736, in Lake County. It will lie north of the Cypress Ridge Hunting Preserve.
