‘Strumm Place Townhomes’ Planned for 2025 Release at Corner of Central Avenue and 64th Street in St. Petersburg, FL

Construction has started on the Strumm Place Townhomes in St. Petersburg, FL. The venture, expected to be move-in ready by early 2025, will comprise nine townhomes in three buildings.

According to the venture’s website, each three-bedroom home will span 2,040 square feet. Homeowners can choose from three design finishes for their cabinets, flooring, and countertops.

In-unit offerings include ensuite bathrooms, stainless steel appliances, and collapsible sliding doors that lead to a private balcony. Some units come with private elevators, and each residence comes with a two-car garage.

The Tampa Bay Business Journal reports that J Square Developers and Backstreets Capital are spearheading the project. The former purchased the 0.84-acre property for $1.45 million in December 2022. BSB Design is the architect. Smith & Associates is marketing the homes. Space Interiors is the interior designer.

The community will feature nine residences in three three-story buildings.

The Strumm Place Townhomes gets its namesake from the Strumm family, “one of the pioneering families of West St. Pete.” In addition to constructing the nine residences, developers are preserving the Strumm House, a 4,800-square-foot building that was erected in 1924. It will be repurposed as office space.

The Strumm Place Townhomes are currently unfolding at the corner of Central Avenue and 64th Street in St. Petersburg, FL, 33710, in Pinellas County.
