Construction Concludes on ‘Remi on the River’ at 999 N.W. 7th St., Miami, FL

A market-rate apartment complex has officially ended construction along the Miami River. The aptly named “Remi on the River” is a 342-unit community offering studio to three-bedroom apartments.

The South Florida Business Journal indicates that they measure 465 to 1,334 square feet. Rent for the smallest units starts at $2,171 a month, per Apartments.com. In-unit features include stainless steel appliances, washer/dryers, and balconies/patios.

Communal amenities include (but are not limited to) a resort-style swimming pool, fitness center, and residents’ lounge with co-working space. Mast Capital and AEW Capital Management were the project’s developers. They told media outlets that construction officially ended on July 24th––just three days ago.

Construction started in early 2022 after the security of a $70.5 million construction loan. Corwil Architects designed Remi on the River. It also designed Culmer Place, a 239-unit apartment complex also located in Miami-Dade County.

Remi on the River is the second phase of what was formerly called the Waterline Miami Apartments. The first phase, “10X Miami,” currently boasts 346 apartments. The Next Miami notes it was fully leased within months of opening. Both projects were erected on six acres that once hosted the Miami News offices.
