This past June, Florida YIMBY reported on Sunset Palms Luxury Townhomes, an upscale housing development in St. Petersburg. Developed by husband-and-wife duo Max and Kaitlin Vollmer, the venture will deliver five three-bedroom residences spanning 1,950 square feet.
Now, we’ve learned of another venture in the developers’ pipeline, a project called “Historic Kenwood Homes”. St. Pete Rising notes that this community, like Sunset Palm Luxury Townhomes, will feature five residences.
Each home offers three bedrooms and three bathrooms, measuring 2,000 square feet and offering a “range of luxury farmhouse-inspired interior finishes.” They also come with two-car garages, space for guest parking, and unfenced 35-by-18-foot “green space”. Our sources report that prior to the start of construction, the developers would demolish an assisted living building currently located on the site.
At the time of publication, prices at Historic Kenwood Homes started at $897,450, although this could fluctuate the closer the community gets to completion. Construction is expected to start by the end of this year, with residents expected to move in by the first quarter of 2026. Involved parties on the venture include Kelner Homes and Design Styles Architecture.
Historic Kenwood Homes is slated for 2168 9th Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL, 33713, in Pinellas County.
