BH Group, an Aventura-based developer, has plans for an exciting venture in Hallandale Beach. According to our sources, BH Group has submitted an application for the development of a condo and hotel tower situated across from Gulfstream Park.
Related Group has completed vertical construction at Wynwood Diamedix, a striking development in Miami’s Wynwood Arts District. This two-tower project, designed by Cohen Freedman Encinosa & Associates and situated at 2150 North Miami Avenue and 2115 North Miami Avenue, will boast 304 rental homes, over 17,000 square feet of top-tier commercial space, and an impressive 63,000 square feet of premium office space. The project is scheduled for completion in September 2024, and Beauchamp Construction is the general contractor.
The Altman Companies, under the Altman Development Company, LLC, has submitted a pre-application for an 11-story residential development situated at 11240 Biscayne Boulevard in North Miami. Designed by Cohen Freedman Encinosa & Associates, the proposed project encompasses 373 residential units, a parking facility yielding 608 spaces, and 20 bicycle spaces. The undertaking reflects the developer’s intention to present soon a Zoning Hearing Application requesting Special Exception approval for a comprehensive concept plan in alignment with the Rapid Transit Zone (RTZ) SMART Corridor Subzone.
Miami’s Building Department has recently issued a construction permit for The Crosby, an upcoming 33-story mixed-use building located within Miami Worldcenter at 601 North Miami Avenue in downtown Miami. Designed by Cohen Freedman Encinosa & Associates Architects with interiors envisioned by AvroKO and developed by DT G Block LLC, a joint venture between Related Group and Merrimac Ventures, the 377-foot-tall structure will encompass 450 condominium units, accommodating short-term rentals, along with more than 22,000 square feet of amenities, a rooftop bar and restaurant, and 3,370 square feet of retail space. Notably, the development will omit parking facilities. Beauchamp Construction serves as the general contractor.
Earlier this month, Village of the Arts, Ltd., affiliated with Dania Beach-based MJDC, filed plans for Village of the Arts, a 6-story mixed-use project at 543 Northwest 5th Avenue in Fort Lauderdale’s Progresso Village neighborhood. Designed by Cohen Freedman Encinosa & Associates Architects with Architectural Alliance Landscape as the landscape architect and Botek Thurlow Engineering, Inc. as the civil engineer, the 65-foot-tall structure would comprise nearly 140,000 square feet of space, including 162 residential units, 6,000 square feet of ground floor retail space, and a 216-space parking garage. The filed plans for the project, initially scheduled for review on June 13, are currently being reviewed by Fort Lauderdale’s Design Review Committee.
