In 2022, Florida YIMBY reported on Presidium Regal, a multi-family housing development that would replace a defunct Regal Cinema in Jacksonville. Now, close to two years later, we’re pleased to announce that the venture has reached completion.
About two acres of riverfront land in Broward County could be developed into an affordable housing development. Oaklyn Crossing (not to be confused with “Oaklyn”) would measure 62 feet high, offering 101 residences.
Ability Housing is inching closer to construction on Village at Lake Forest, a venture Florida YIMBY reported on nearly three years ago. The development would involve transforming the now-shuttered Lake Forest School of the Visual and Performing Arts into a 120-unit complex.
Last week, construction started on The Whitt, a multi-family housing development in Riverview, FL. Featuring 211 one-bedroom to three-bedroom residences, the venture will offer apartments divided between three four-story, woodframed buildings.
