Sumaida + Khurana and Bizzi+Bilgili, two internationally renowned real estate development firms, announced closing $47.25 million in construction financing from Cain International for The Fifth Miami Beach. This new Class A+ office building at 950 5th Street is the first commercial building in Miami’s South of Fifth neighborhood in 20 years. Designed by Alberto Campo Baeza, who recently won Spain’s National Prize for Architecture, The Fifth Miami Beach is the architect’s first Miami building and first commercial office project in the U.S.
Red Octopus, the architect behind Little 22 apartments in Miami-Dade, is pleased to announce its proposal for Terrace 88. The multi-family housing development would comprise 30 apartments on a .23-acre lot.
The Village at Coral Gables is slated for a 2025 or 2026 delivery. The venture, costing close to $68 million to complete, will offer 48 units on a 2.6-acre build site.
The COVID-19 pandemic has increased demand for hotel rooms in South Florida, with close to 5,000 new rooms opening by 2026. One of the planned hotels is Collins Park Miami, a multi-building venture that will comprise 172,000 square feet.
