Demolition Work Progresses At 5333 Collins Avenue For The Perigon’s Future Site In Miami Beach

Demolition work continues to progress at the site of The Perigon, a 17-story luxury oceanfront condominium developed jointly by Mast Capital and Starwood Capital Group, located at 5333 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach. Designed by OMA with interior design by Tara Bernerd & Partners, the 213-foot-tall structure will offer 73 ultra-luxury residences, ranging from 2,100 to 6,700 square feet, in addition to eight private guest suites exclusively for residents. Groundbreaking for this project is expected in early 2024; Moss Construction is the general contractor.

Miami Beach City Commission Votes In Favor Of The Gardens At Lincoln Lane

The City Commission of Miami Beach voted 5-1 in favor of The Gardens at Lincoln Lane, a low-rise mixed-use development slated for South Beach that will comprise just under 130,000 square feet of Class-A office space, 25,000 square feet of street-level retail, and more than 425 easily accessible parking spaces. The project is designed by Brandon Haw Architecture, along with West 8 Urban Design & Landscape Architecture, and includes a 6-story building on a 0.9-acre lot at 1680 Lenox Avenue, and an 8-story building nearby on a 1.1-acre lot at 1080 Lincoln Lane North in the Lincoln Road District. The Gardens at Lincoln Lane is a joint venture between Starwood Capital Group, Integra Investments and The Comras Company, and the project now moves on to the November ballot, which will seek voter approval.

FAA Building Permits Filed For 897-Foot-Tall And 848-Foot-Tall Structures At Baccarat Site In Brickell

Applications for building permits have been submitted to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for two structures at Related Group’s 3.9-acre development site in Brickell, Miami, where the developer plans the One Brickell waterfront-facing mixed-use complex with as many as three towers. The first set of permits reveal a filing for an 897-foot-tall structure, or 901-feet above sea level, specifically at 444 Brickell Avenue. A second set of permits were filed for an 848-foot-tall structure, or 852-feet above sea level, around the northwest corner of the site which is likely 99 Southeast 5th Street. Both permit applications were created and filed on July 15, 2022 and are now under review by the FAA.
