Façade installation is nearing completion on the Lake Nona Wave Hotel, a 17-story hospitality building under construction in the Lake Nona Region of Orlando. Designed by Arquitectonica and developed by the Tavistock Development Company, the approximately 199-foot-tall structure will yield 234 guest rooms, featuring 18 suites, spread across 234,248 square feet including 12,000 square feet of meeting and event space. The project is located on 2.1 acres of land currently addressed as 6714 Tavistock Lakes Boulevard on what is considered to be Block 3 of Phase 2 in the Lake Nona Town Center Master Plan.

Recent photos show the state of construction on the hotel and the progress on the installation of the glass envelop. Most of the blue-green tinted panels have been installed on the tower portion, and what remains to be finished is the podium level which has already begun on the northern section. Judging from YIMBY’s visit to the site, it won’t be long before the exterior is fully complete.
