RD Town Plantation is unfolding in Fort Myers, Florida, per the South Florida Water Management District. The venture will offer at least 84 residential units. Plans show 56 two-bedroom units and 28 three-bedroom units. They will be spread across 14 buildings, each comprising six homes.
Homes come with ceramic flooring in the bathrooms and vinyl floors in the foyer, kitchen, and hallway. The bedrooms have beige/off-white carpeting. The community will offer 189 parking spots––that’s about two spaces per unit. For every guest parking spot, there are 10 residential spots.
The community’s location
Each building will measure no more than 42 feet tall. The build site itself measures 11.52 acres. Construction broke ground on the endeavor in summer 2021, with Kast Construction Company LLC serving as the general contractor. Related Group of Florida owns the venture, presently managing 77 active projects throughout the Sunshine State.
RD Town Plantation costs around $20 million to complete. Records show that the project was in development for at least six months before construction began. Other involved entities on the venture include MSA Architects and Humphreys & Partners (the architects), Kimley-Horn & Associates Inc. (the civil engineer), and ASE Engineering Inc. (the structural engineer).
