Construction is near fully topping out 0n Society Wynwood, a 10-story mixed-use development at 2431 Northwest 2nd Avenue in the heart of Miami’s Wynwood Arts District. Designed by MKDA and developed by a joint venture partnership between national developer Property Markets Group and Canada-based private equity firm Greybrook Realty Partners, the 680,873-square-foot structure will have 318 residential units, over 50,000 square feet of retail/restaurant space, and over 200 parking spaces. John Moriarty & Associates is the project’s general contractor, located between Northwest 24th and 25th Streets.
Recent aerial photos show the state of construction at the 1.9-acre site, where concrete work for the northern half of the building nears completion, and the southern half is not too far behind.

At the time of these photos, the south side had reached the 7th floor on the corner of NW 2nd Avenue and NW 25th Street, and formwork further into the block was at the 4th floor. The northern half of the building appeared almost complete, with just a bit more concrete pouring remaining for a portion on the rear end of this section and formwork for mechanicals left to finish. Construction permits for the project list 114 feet as the full height.

Since the northern half of the building is ahead in structural work, glass windows have begun to be installed on the lower floors, as seen in the image below. As block masonry work continues to make its way up the concrete shell, more window installation will follow. Exterior work on the superstructure should commence soon. Society Wynwood will feature smooth black and grey stucco walls, glass + aluminum windows and balcony railings, and art murals.

Prospective tenants will have the option to rent an entire apartment, or “Rent-by-Bedroom” (co-living) options. Amenities will include a massive pool deck, co-working lab, modern gym and fitness studio, entertainment lounges, yoga lawn, craft food and beverage operations, smart package lockers, app-based keys, integrated retail space, and more.
Society Wynwood is expected to fully top off within the first half of 2023 and will likely reach completion in 2024.
