Barrington Brothers Break Ground On The Kavista At 495 NE 83rd Street In The Village Of El Portal

Barrington Brothers, managed by Arthur and Ken Barrington, have begun construction on The Kavista, a 8-story residential development at 495 Northeast 83rd Street in the historic Village of El Portal, located between Miami Shores and Little River in Miami-Dade County. Designed both on the exterior and interior by Modis Architects with Nielsen Landscape Architects handling landscape architecture, the $60 million development will offer one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, and ground floor live-work units ranging from 559 to 1,133 square feet. Madison Point Apartments Tops Out In Naranja, Miami-Dade County

Construction has topped off for Madison Point Apartments, a multi-building garden-style mixed-use development community under construction along South Dixie Highway intersecting with Henderson Street in Naranja, Miami-Dade County. Designed by Palenzuela & Hevia Design Group and developed by JQ Group, the development is comprised of four 4-story buildings containing 263 residential units and 14,355 square feet of ground floor commercial space. Davie-based ANF Group, Inc., the general contractor on the project, officially announced the topping out of the concrete structures, and is scheduled for completion towards the end of this year.

ANF Group Inc. Selected As General Contractor For 15,000-Square-Foot Theatre Arts Building At University Of Miami’s Coral Gables Campus

Davie, Florida-based ANF Group, Inc., a full-service construction firm providing construction management, general contracting, development, and design-build services, has been selected as the general contractor for the construction of a new 15,000-square-foot ground up Theater Arts Building on the University of Miami’s Coral Gables Campus. Designed by Miami-based Mateu Architecture, the 2-story building will feature a theatre, concessions, wardrobe and dressing rooms, acting and dance classrooms, voice studios, a student lounge, and supporting spaces. A 1,000-square-foot IT Hub/Data Room will also be located within the space program of the new Theater Arts building. The project is currently in the pre-construction stages, and is expected to break ground in the third quarter of 2022.
