Namdar Group Issued $195 Million Loan For Two Apartment Towers In Downtown Miami

Great Neck, NY-based real estate investment and development firm Namdar Group has secured $195 million in acquisition and construction funding for Namdar Towers, two residential buildings of 41- and 43-stories planned for 222 Northeast 1st Avenue in Downtown Miami. The loan came from an affiliate of New York’s Slate Property Group – SCALE Lending – brokered by associates of Greystone Capital Advisors. Plans for the residential project include 1.2 million square feet of space with 1,354 residential units between both towers.

Hyatt And Gencom Propose Redevelopment Of Hyatt Regency Miami With Mixed-Use Complex Of Three Towers

Leading global hospitality company Hyatt has teamed up with Miami-based luxury hospitality and residential developer Gencom to redevelop Downtown Miami’s iconic Hyatt Regency Miami at 400 Southeast 2nd Avenue, with the goal of making improvements in and out of the urban core, and activating a key piece of Miami’s riverfront. Designed by Miami-based Arquitectonica, plans for the site include three towers offering residents and hotel guests panoramic views of Downtown Miami and Biscayne Bay. Towers one and two would rise 61-stories and include 682 multifamily apartments, a 615-room Hyatt Regency with over 100,000 square feet of meeting space, and 264 serviced apartments; the towers would be linked at the top by a Skybridge featuring an upscale destination restaurant and lounge perched 700 feet over the city. Developers Propose Massive Mixed-Use Projects To Replace College Station Garage In Downtown Miami

In the summer of 2021, the Miami Parking Authority (MPA) received an unsolicited proposal for the redevelopment of the College Station Garage at 190 Northeast 3rd Street in Downtown Miami. Following the unsolicited proposal, the MPA requested public bids for the site and received proposals from College Station Partners LLC, a joint venture between Miami-based developers Related Group (Related) and ROVR Development (ROVR), and from Terra International Services LLC, a joint venture between Terra Group (Terra) and Apollo Global Management (Apollo). Both ventures are proposing to build massive mixed-use projects, and as of January 19, 2022. the MPA has ranked the proposal from Related and ROVR as the top bid ahead of Terra and Apollo. The MPA will consider a 99-year land lease and development agreement for the replacement of 1,439-space garage, which was built in 1973 and stands 7-stories.
