Lynd Living Applies For 698-Foot-Tall Building At Miami Worldcenter

Texas-based real estate developer Lynd Living has applied for building permits to construct a 698-foot-tall building at Miami Worldcenter. The Federal Aviation Administration received applications on September 8 for the 0.47-acre site at 941 North Miami Avenue, which the developer recently acquired for $30 million. The structure would top off at 709 feet above sea level when factoring in the site’s elevation and could yield up to 1.2 million square feet including 650 residential units.

One of the last remaining vacant development sites in the 27-acre Miami Worldcenter master-planned district, a 20,600-square-foot assemblage at the southeast corner of North Miami Avenue and Northeast 10th Street, traded hands for $30 million. The previous owner, IRR Parkwest Investments LLC – headed by Marc Roberts, sold the 0.47-acre site to 925 N Miami LLC, an affiliate of San Antonio, TX-based Lynd Living (Lynd). A $22.75 million land acquisition loan was arranged by Concord Summit Capital, LLC for the property, alternatively referred as Block 23, which occupies the northeast frontage of North Miami Avenue between Northeast 9th and 10th Streets

Abbhi Capital Releases First Concept Rendering Of A Planned Mixed-Use Project For Miami Worldcenter Block A

YIMBY spotted a new rendering of another potential large scale mixed-use project for an undeveloped site in Miami Worldcenter, better recognized as MWC Block A in Park West, Downtown Miami. 2.2-acres of this city block is under the ownership of Miami-based developer and investment firm Abbhi Capital, led by founder and managing partner Sankesh Abbhi, which was assembled by the firm under the Sanaproperty8 LLC between 2020 and 2021 for a total of approximately $44 million. The developer is reportedly planning a mixed-use project with multi-family, office, retail and hotel components, currently in the pre-construction and entitlement phases. The property allows for up to 2 million square feet of development, which would be incorporated into the 27-acre Miami Worldcenter complex.

New construction permits have been filed for The Crosby Miami Worldcenter, a 33-story residential building slated for the 27-acre Miami Worldcenter 10-block mixed-use complex in Park West, Downtown Miami. Designed by Cohen Freedman Encinosa & Associates and developed by Related Group and Merrimac Ventures under the DT G Block LLC, the 376-foot-tall will yield 450 fully finished and furnished condominium units spread across 387,355 square feet with interiors by AvroKO, as well as 3,370 square feet of general retail space. Beauchamp Construction Co., Inc. is the general contractor for the project, which is addressed as 601 North Miami Avenue.

YIMBY recently went to check out views of construction from above Miami Worldcenter (MWC), a 27-acre world-class mixed-use development under construction in the Park West district of Downtown Miami. The $4 billion development, led and master planned by Miami Worldcenter Associates, a joint venture between master developers Art Falcone, Nitin Motwani and CIM Group, spans 10-blocks and includes immense residential, hotel, office and retail spaces across multiple buildings. The development stretches as far as Northeast 2nd Avenue on the east, Northwest 1st Avenue on the west, Northeast 11th Street on the north and Northeast 6th Street on the south.
