Related Group Seeks Approval To Increase Miami Station Tower To 539-Feet In Overtown

The Federal Aviation Administration has received applications for Miami Station, a 41-story mixed-use building planned for 525 Northwest 2nd Avenue in Miami’s Overtown District. The tower has been submitted seeking approvals to rise 539-feet, or 546-feet above sea level, a significant increase from the previously reported 459-feet seen in the most recent UDRB application. Designed by ODP Architecture & Design and developed by the Related Group, the project is expected to yield 752,859 square feet including 200,234 square feet of office space, 309 residential units, 8,508 square feet of retail space and a parking garage for 510 vehicles. The Federal Aviation Administration has granted height approvals for The Gallery at West Brickell, a 29-story mixed-use project planned for 201 Southwest 10th Street in West Brickell, Miami. Designed by CM Design & Development and developed by Miami-based Related Group along with Miami-Dade County, the project will rise 305-feet, or 321-feet above sea level at the northwest corner of Southwest 2nd Avenue and Southwest 10th Street. Plans for the project include 465 income-restricted residential units, 2,238 square feet of office space, 2,338 square feet of retail and up to 529 parking spaces.

Designed by CM Design & Development and developed by Miami-based Related Group along with Miami-Dade County, the project would rise 29 stories at the northwest corner of Southwest 2nd Avenue and Southwest 10th Street, and yield approximately 465 income-restricted residential units, 2,238 square feet of office space, 2,338 square feet of retail and up to 529 parking spaces. The applications for the height approvals were submitted on October 28, 2021.

Former Auberge Residences Site Is Renamed To Casa Bella As Related Group Prepares For Sales Launch

The Related Group, one of Miami’s most active real estate developers, is planning to launch sales soon for Casa Bella, a 60-story residential building at 1400 Biscayne Boulevard in Downtown Miami near the border of Edgewater. The development site is where Aubuerge Residences was once planned, a glass-clad tower with wave-like proportions designed by Arquitectonica. According to The Next Miami, Related is likely reusing the original plans for the newly named tower as the height, unit count and layout are nearly identical. Casa Bella is projected to yield over 300 luxury residences ranging from 1 – 5 bedrooms and a maximum of 6 units per floor featuring interiors by Piero Lissoni.

Demolition Set To Begin Soon At The Site Of The Upcoming 41-Story Miami Station Tower

Demolition is set to begin on an un unfinished concrete parking garage at the site of the upcoming Miami Station, a 41-story mixed-use tower planned for 525 Northwest 2nd Avenue in Miami’s Overtown District. According to a recent publication on The Next Miami, the Related Group filed a notice of commencement on October 20th stating they will begin to demolish the structure, remnants of the former Krystal Tower that halted construction due to the Great Recession of 2008. BG Group is listed as the demolition contractor for the Miami Station development site.
