Weeklong Foundation Pour Completed for The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Estero Bay Lagoon

London Bay Development Group has completed a significant phase in the construction of The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Estero Bay, with the completion of a weeklong foundation pour for the project’s lagoon. This process required 115 trucks, 1,460 tons of concrete, and 152,304 pounds of rebar, marking the largest ground-level pour the company has undertaken to date. The development’s one-acre lagoon will be a central feature of the project. Designed with Balinese-inspired pavilions, the lagoon will provide lounging, sunbathing, and dining areas. The 22-story dual-tower development within a 500-acre nature preserve in Bonita Springs has reached over half a billion dollars in total sales.

The groundbreaking ceremony on November 16 welcomed over 100 industry leaders, local dignitaries, property owners, and top-producing realtors to the project’s waterfront site. This milestone event featured a champagne toast and brunch. Architectural firm CGHJ Architects, internationally renowned interior architect Cristian Pinedo, landscape architecture firm Booth Design Group, and J.R. Evans Engineering are collaborating on this project. Suffolk Construction serves as the general contractor.

Pompano Beach’s Tallest Building Approved By The FAA To Rise 353 Feet

The Federal Aviation Administration has issued permits for a new condominium tower that is set to become the next tallest building in Pompano Beach. The upcoming building is the already announced 32-story oceanfront Beach Tower, planned for 1380 South Ocean Boulevard, as part of the Ritz Carlton Residences Pompano Beach. This development is a joint venture partnership between Fortune International Group and Oak Capital. With approval to rise 353 feet, it will surpass the current tallest structures, the 334-foot-tall Pompano Beach Club towers, which have held this title since their completion in 1975. The Beach Tower, facing the Atlantic Ocean, will be joined by a smaller 14-story, 88-unit Marina Tower across the street along the Intracoastal Waterway, designed by Arquitectonica.

This milestone signifies the commencement of residential construction for Saltleaf on Estero Bay, which comprises two 22-story towers containing 224 residences. London Bay, city officials, development partners, and friends gathered at the project’s 5,000-square-foot sales gallery at 5000 Coconut Road in Bonita Springs to celebrate the groundbreaking on July 14. Honorary guests included Bonita Springs Mayor Rick Steinmeyer and City Council members Laura Carr and Jamie Bogacz, as well as Lee County Commissioners Cecil Pendergrass and Ray Sandelli.
