Society Orlando’s Concrete Superstructure Continues Vertical Ascent In Downtown Orlando

Construction continues to rise on Society Orlando, a 330-foot-tall, 26-story mixed-use development at 434 North Orange Avenue in Downtown Orlando. Designed by Orlando-based Baker Barrios and being developed by Miami and New York City-based Property Markets Group (PMG) alongside investment partner Raven Capital Management (Raven), the project consists of a pair of towers that will yield a combined 707 residential units under PMG’s Society Living brand with approximately 36,000 square feet of ground floor commercial space. The first phase of the development is making rapid vertical progress with John Moriarty & Associates as the general contractor.

34-Story ‘The Edge’ Mixed-Use Tower Set To Rise Later This Year In Downtown Orlando

Orlando’s urban core is poised to see new large scale developments as Dallas-based real estate developer Lincoln Property Company may soon begin construction on  The Edge, a 34-story mixed-use skyscraper set to rise approximately 400-feet over the Downtown area some time during the fourth quarter of this year. The tower is expected to rise at 225 South Garland Avenue, just north of the developer’s 28-story SunTrust Plaza completed in 2020, replacing the former club/venue replacing the former Ballroom at Church Street Station. Designed by architect Baker Barrios, the project will yield 230 residential units, 200,000 square feet of office space and 4,000 square feet of retail.

Construction is going vertical at Society Orlando, a two-tower mixed-use project of 17 and 28 stories in Downtown Orlando’s Central Business District. Designed by Orlando’s very own Baker Barrios and developed by Property Markets Group in collaboration with Raven Capital Management, the 825,000-square-foot development occupies an entire city block addressed as 434 North Orange Avenue, and is set to become the single largest residential project in all of Downtown Orlando.

Activity Spotted At The Site of Property Markets Group’s “Society Orlando”

YIMBY recently spotted activity at 434 North Orange Avenue in Downtown Orlando, the site of an upcoming mixed-use development known as Society Orlando. The developers behind the project, Property Markets Group and Raven Capital Management, are establishing the Society Living hospitality brand in the city with plans for a two-tower structure topping out at 28-stories. Due to the pandemic, construction has been delayed for several months, and now seeing movement on the site could mean the tower could be going vertical soon.
