A South Florida-based developer hopes to get approval for Trinity Sierra Bay, an age-restricted housing development in Miami’s Goulds neighborhood. The complex would offer 234 apartments split between two buildings, measuring five and seven stories above grade.
Miami-based development firm CREI Holdings has secured a $41 million loan from Lument for the refinancing of Li’l Abner II apartments, completed in April 2023 in the city of Sweetwater. The transaction closed on December 29, 2023, and was led by Marc Suarez, a managing director at Lument.

Designed by Burgos Lanza & Associates and developed by MRK Partners and Cypress Equity Investments, this 227-unit affordable housing development will offer apartments reserved for those aged 62 and older and those earning no more than 60% of the Area Median Income (AMI) or approximately $40,980 for one-person households and $46,800 for two-person households. The project is scheduled for completion in mid-2024.
Window installation is nearing completion on Metro Edgewater, a topped-off 32 story residential building at 452 Northeast 31st Street in Edgewater, Miami. designed by Burgos Lanza & Associates and developed by Prodesa International under the Metro Edgewater LLC, the rectangular reinforced concrete superstructure rises 373-feet and will yield approximately 520,638 square feet of new construction including 279 rental apartments, 4,230 square feet of ground floor retail, and a parking garage with 300 spaces. Ortega Construction Company is the general contractor with L&R Structural as the shell contractor.
