Move-Ins Begin For 22-Story Tower At 1050 Water Street Designed By Morris Adjmi Architects And ODP Architecture & Design

Strategic Property Partners (SPP), the developer behind the 56-acre Water Street Tampa mixed-use development on Downtown Tampa’s waterfront, announced move-ins of its first residents to Asher, a 22-story residential tower located at 1050 Water Street, located immediately north of Tampa EDITION and bound by South Nebraska Avenue on the west with East Cumberland Avenue on the north. The recently completed 273-foot-tall building is completely designed by Morris Adjmi Architects with ODP Architecture & Design as the architect of record, and contains a collection of 490 thoughtfully-designed rental residences ranging from studio, one- and two-bedroom layouts. Amenities at Asher include the neighborhood’s largest rooftop pool deck with over 70 lounge chairs, a media lounge and beautifully designed co-working space with private conference rooms. Move-ins and in-person tours are now underway at the building, following a highly successful pre-leasing period.

Tampa-based real estate development firm Strategic PropertyPartners, LLC (SPP) recently announced that Water Street Tampa — the mixed-use development transforming 56 contiguous acres along the Downtown Tampa’s waterfront — has achieved LEED silver certification under the category of LEED® for Neighborhood Development: Plan, which focuses on the design of public spaces between buildings and how they will be used by people in the community. The United States Green Building Council awarded this certification to Water Street Tampa for the design of its walkable streets, tree-lined and shaded streetscapes, access to quality public transit, proximity between housing and jobs, and energy-efficient infrastructure, all part of Water Street Tampa’s commitment to employ sustainability and wellness-based design on a district-wide scale.

Real estate development firm Strategic Property Partners (SPP) recently announced Asher, a dynamic, highly amenitized new 22-story apartment tower at 1050 Water Street in Water Street Tampa, the 56-acre neighborhood transforming Downtown Tampa. In addition to offering a collection of rental residences, the developer has teamed up with Method Co., the celebrated Philadelphia-based hospitality company, to bring the first Florida location of their high-design extended-stay concept, ROOST Apartment Hotel, at Asher. Strategic Property Partners Announces Commissioned Public Art for Water Street Tampa

As phase 1 of the 56-acre Water Street Tampa development continues to make progress towards completion in Downtown Tampa, developer Strategic Property Partners (SPP) is pleased to announce the expansion of its vibrant public art in the community. Two art installations were commissioned to anchor the neighborhood, bringing in the works of San Francisco-based artist Jim Campbell and London-based art and design firm Jason Bruges Studio. Campbell’s piece is a curved wall structure that produces moving light pictures and will be located in Raybon Plaza adjacent to Thousand & One, while Jason Bruges Studio is bringing a site-specific interactive light installation to the pedestrian skybridge connecting the JW Marriott Tampa Water Street and Tampa Marriott Water Street.

Exterior Work Continues On 1050 Water Street At Water Street Tampa

Exterior work is continuing to progress on 1050 Water Street, a 22-story mixed-use building within the 56-acre, $3.5 billion Water Street Tampa mega-development. Designed by Morris Adjmi Architects with ODP Architecture & Design as the architect of record, and developed by Strategic Property Partners, the structure rises to 273-feet and will yield approximately 787,808-square-feet of space at completion which includes 511 residential units in a mix of studio – two-bedroom layouts, as well as 30,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space.
