Brooklyn-based developer Dependable Equities LLC has requested site plans approvals from the Development Review Committee for Ombelle, a 1,043,963-square-foot mixed-use development comprised of two mirrored 43-story towers at 300 Northeast 3rd Avenue in the growing Flagler Village neighborhood of Fort Lauderdale. With New York-based ODA Architecture onboard for architectural and landscape design, Witkins Hults + Partners as the landscape architect of record and Flynn Engineering as the civil engineer, the project will rise 493-feet over Fort Lauderdale’s Downtown Core and yield 1,100 dwelling units, 11,217 square feet of retail space and 1,100 parking spaces.

An 11-story Mediterranean-themed mixed-use development designed by MSA Architects has been proposed for 3808 Southwest 8th Street in Coral Gables. FRC Realty Inc., an entity linked to Chicago-based real estate developer Fifield Realty Corp, submitted plans for a 227,670-square-foot building to be considered by Coral Gables’ Development Review Committee, which includes 103 residential units and amenities spread across 105,946 square feet of space, approximately 11,350 square feet of retail space, 7,241 square feet of office space and a garage integrated into the podium for up to 177 vehicles. Today, the Development Review Committee of the City of Pompano Beach will consider a major site plan review for Ocean Park Beach Residences, a two-towered luxury residential building proposed to rise 19-stories at 1508 North Ocean Boulevard. Designed by G3aec and developed by Mount Vernon Property Holdings, LLC, an affiliate of Strategic Properties led by founder Tomas Sinisterra, the development is proposed to yield 28 luxury condominium dwelling units and approximately 3,044 square feet of commercial space. The vacant property spans a net 0.62-acres, or 27,045 square feet, and is bound by Northeast 16th Street on the North, North Ocean Boulevard on the West, the La Costa Beach Club Resort on the South and Public Kite Beach fronting the Atlantic Ocean on the East. Century Homebuilders Group seeks approval from the Development Review Committee of Coral Gables for the redevelopment of school property at 110 Phoenetia Avenue. The project is titled Crystal, a 9-story mixed-use building consisting of 177 residential units, 16 ground floor live-work units, 5,500 square feet of educational space for the Crystal Academy, 340 internalized parking spaces and a rooftop amenities deck.
