Construction continues on the Canopy at Babcock Ranch, a residential development in Punta Gorda, Florida. DeAngelis Diamond Construction, Inc. is the general contractor and broke ground on the $91 million venture this spring.
Evolve Gainesville started construction in early 2021. The high-rise complex will offer housing options to college students in the Alachua County, primarily those attending the University of Florida and Santa Fe College. CBG Building Company, the general contractor, hopes to end construction in 2023.
The Reef is nearing completion in Jacksonville, FL, with availability starting June 2022. The Jacksonville Financial News & Daily Record notes that the complex was initially called “Fiddler’s Reef.” Construction started on the Reef in Summer 2020, with Live Oak Contracting operating as the general contractor.
Regal Cinemas, a movie theater in Jacksonville, FL, will soon make way for a multi-family housing development. Dubbed “Regal Apartments,” the $41 million venture will offer 334 housing units. The project comprises five four-story buildings. The community itself calls for more than 480,000 square feet of new construction and sits on 15.07 acres.
The Downtown Development Review Board (DDRB) in Jacksonville has recommended conceptual approval for the construction of One Riverside, an 18.84-acre mixed-use development comprised of two 7-story multi-family residential buildings with a total of 270 residential units, a 3,000-square-foot riverfront restaurant, a residential pool, a stand-alone amenity building and a 7-deck parking garage with 502 spaces. The project site is located at One Riverside Avenue in the Brooklyn neighborhood of the Downtown area, bounded to the north by Riverside Ave, to the east by the Acosta Bridge, to the south by the St. John’s River, and to the West by the Haskell property. Atlanta-based Dwell Design Studio is listed as the architect; Tribridge Residential is the developer.
