Exterior work is approaching the final stages on the first phase of Society Orlando, a two-towered, 1.5-million-square-foot mixed-use development located at 434 North Orange Avenue in Downtown Orlando. Designed by Baker Barrios and developed by a joint venture partnership between Property Markets Group and Raven & Company, the complex will yield 704 rental apartments paired with over 100,000 square feet of amenities, 33,000 square feet of retail space and nearly 900 parking spaces within a 5-story podium. The first phase of the development will offer 484 residential units spread throughout a 28-story structure topped out at 350 feet, making it the 9th tallest building in Orlando. John Moriarty & Associates is the project’s general contractor, located on the northwest corner of the cross between North Orange Avenue and West Livingston Street.

Designed by Arquitectonica with landscape architecture by Urban Robot Associates and interiors by INC, the development will create approximately 854,999 square feet of space, including 362 condominium units, 40,000 square feet of thoughtfully curated amenities, and an enclosed parking garage. Americaribe-Moriarty JV, a joint venture between Bouygues Bâtiment International’s subsidiary Americaribe LLC and John Moriarty & Associates, is the general contractor.

Related Group Nabs $164 Million Construction Loan For 506-Unit Rental Tower In Brickell

Charlotte, NC-based Truist Bank has issued a $164 million construction loan to Miami’s acclaimed condo king, the Related Group, for the first of three skyscrapers slated for a prime 3.9-acre development site along Brickell Avenue, south of the Miami River. Commonly referred to as One Brickell Tower II, the 47-story structure is reportedly planned to rise approximately 478 feet at 77 Southeast 5th Street and yield 506 rental apartments. Arquitectonica is the architect for the entire mixed-use development, which includes the planned 75-story Baccarat Residences Miami and an 82-story hotel and residential tower. John Moriarty & Associates is the general contractor for the tower, which is expected to begin construction next month.

Witkin Hults + Partners is the landscape architect, TWR Engineers is the MEP engineer, and Grāef is the civil engineer. John Moriarty & Associates is listed as the general contractor.
