Developers Break Ground On WNWD21 At 2150 N. Miami Avenue In Wynwood, Miami

Miami-based real estate developer Related Group and private equity firm Rockpoint have broken ground on WNWD21, a new 12-story, two-towered mixed-use development consisting of 304 apartments, over 18,000 square feet of retail, 63,000 square feet of office space, and 7-level parking garage for over 500 vehicles. Located in the heart of the Wynwood at 2150 North Miami Avenue, the project is designed by Cohen Freedman Encinosa & Associates with interior design from ID & Design International (iddi Design). Beauchamp Construction Company is spearheading the construction, with completion expected for the third quarter of 2024.

The stand-alone building, Block F-East, marks one of the final retail components of the 27-acre project to be delivered as active vertical development continues at the $4 billion mixed-use development in the heart of Downtown Miami. Electra America, a real estate private equity firm, along with its U.S.-affiliate, American Landmark, and BH Group, a Miami-based private real estate investment, and development firm, has unveiled preliminary plans for the redevelopment and revitalization of the Southland Mall in Cutler Bay, located at 20505 South Dixie Highway, approximately 20 miles south of downtown Miami. The 80-acre, $1 billion redevelopment will be one of the most significant projects of its kind in the Southeast and be called Southplace City Center, designed and master planned by MSA Architects Inc. with Insite Studio as the landscape architect, Kimley Horn as the civil/traffic engineer, CPH for retail consulting, and Florida Economic Advisors for economic consulting.

Deco Green, a Mixed-Use Venture, Undergoes Construction at 1715 North Dixie Highway, Lake Worth Beach, Florida

LF Development Files Plans For Two Towers With 600 Residential Units In Fontainebleau, Florida

Miami Lakes-based real estate developer and general contracting firm LF Development, through an affiliate entity listed as Combo Group Holdings LLC, filed plans for Fontainebleau Apartments II, a two-towered multifamily development of 10 and 19 stories proposed to rise atop 4.03-acres of backfilled land in Fontainebleau, Florida. Designed by Coral Gables-based Valle Valle & Partners, the property would yield 600 residential units across both towers, a 5,200-square-foot convenience retail component and 957 parking spaces, including 20 handicap spaces and 147 spaces for electric vehicles. Witkin Hults + Partners is the landscape architect, and the engineering team is comprised of Solver Engineering, Zamora & Associates and Fineline Engineers, Inc.

Bizzi & Partners Gets FAA Approval For 378-Foot-Tall Structure To Rise At 100 SW 6th Street In Fort Lauderdale

The Federal Aviation Administration has granted New York-based real estate developer Bizzi & Partners building permit approvals for New River Central, a 35-story mixed-use multifamily and retail high rise building anticipated to rise at 100 Southwest 6th Street. Designed by Dorsky + Yue International with landscaping by Lewis Aqui Landscape + Architectural Design, and being developed alongside New York-based Silverback Development, the 378-foot-tall structure will yield an estimated 350,000 square feet of space including 401 residential units, 5,500 square feet of ground floor retail space, and a 477-space parking garage. The building permit applications were approved as of July 14, 2022 and are set to expire on January 14, 2024.

Carpe Real Estate Partners, a vertically integrated real estate private equity and development company, founded by Erik Rutter and David Weitz in 2018, announced a rebrand to Oak Row Equities. The name change comes as the company continues to mature from its launch in 2018 with one property under management to now over three million square feet under development and one billion dollars of assets under management.
