Developer Seeks Planning Board Approval For Herzog & de Meuron-Designed 32-Story Condo Project In West Palm Beach

Palm Beach billionaire Jeff Greene is advancing plans for a high-end condominium project situated across from the waterfront Currie Park in West Palm Beach. The city’s Planning Board is slated to review the project, crafted by the esteemed Swiss architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron in partnership with the local Spina O’Rourke + Partners and Enea Garden Design for landscape architecture. The review of the application for the 4.5-acre site at 2175 North Flagler Drive is on the agenda for December 19. The currently vacant site is held by 6622 Hollywood Boulevard Partner LP and 920 N. Stanley Partners LLC, both entities under Greene’s leadership.

BGI Companies and Blue Road Group have broken ground on Alba Palm Beach, a 22-story waterfront residential condominium development located at 4714 North Flagler Drive in West Palm Beach. Designed by locally-based Spina O’Rourke + Partners with Schmidt Nichols as the landscape architect, the 262-foot-tall structure will deliver a collection of 55 boutique luxury residences, including a limited collection of four unique two- and three-story townhomes, each with unobstructed views of the serene Intracoastal Waterway and private plunge pools. Ortega Construction Company is the project’s general contractor, estimated to reach completion in 2025.
