Plans have been filed with the Development Review Committee for 10 Hendricks Isle, a 5-story marina-front residential condominium building located in Fort Lauderdale. Designed by FSMY Architects + Planners and developed by Hendricks Group LLC, the proposal includes the construction of a 55-foot-tall structure with situated on a 30,000-square-foot parcel of land, projected to yield 52,440 square feet of space including 16 dwelling units and 35 parking spaces. The property is located just off of Las Olas Boulevard in between Venice Isle and Nurm Isles. Botek Thurlow Engineering, Inc. is listed as the civil engineer with Barranco-RLA, Inc. as the landscape architect.

Renderings from Sieger Suarez Architects have been revealed for two identical towers of 40 and 45 stories proposed as a mixed-use development at 300 and 330 North Andrews Avenue in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. New York City and Fort Lauderdale-based developer BH3 is planning on developing 1,428,920 square feet of space across two 500-foot-tall structures including 612 residential units, 56,317 square feet of commercial space across the first two levels, and a 7-story parking garage with 890 parking spaces. The proposed height for the towers would add them to the ranks of the tallest buildings in Fort Lauderdale if approved. EGS2 Corp is listed as the landscaping architect with Orlando-based Graef as the civil engineer.

Plans to build Fort Lauderdale’s tallest building have been submitted to the Development Review Committee for 300 West Broward Boulevard, a 48-story mixed-use development proposed to rise in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. The property is more specifically located in the Sailboat Bend neighborhood near Las Olas and Beverly Heights, fronting West Broward Boulevard to the north in between Southwest 4th Avenue and Nugent Avenue to the west and east. The tower would conveniently rise approximately 2 blocks away from the Brightline Fort Lauderdale train station and the Riverwalk north of the New River. K-A 300 Broward JV LLC, a joint between New York-based Kushner Companies and Denver-based AIMCO, is listed as the developer – who have the development under contract from FTL/AD LTD. Renderings from Palm Springs-based architect Nader Goubran reveal a new contemporary three-story multifamily residential building at 3303 Southwest 15th Avenue in Fort Lauderdale’s Edgewood neighborhood. The project is being proposed by Austen and Steven Bernstein of New Story Capital Partners, set to rise on the southwest corner of Southwest 32nd Place and Southwest 15th Avenue, exactly north of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church and just minutes away from the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. The building will eventually create 14 residential units spread across 37,674 square feet with 34 parking spaces.

Hall Of Fame Partners, a partnership between Capital Group P3 and Hensel Phelps Construction Company have submitted a proposal to redevelop Fort Lauderdale’s International Swimming Hall of Fame in Central Beach. Located at 1 Hall of Fame Drive and 501 Sea Breeze Boulevard, the $90 million renovation and expansion is comprised of the construction of two new five story towers: a 105-foot-tall museum on the west side of the peninsula and a 94-story welcome center on the east side. The development will include a ballroom with a rooftop restaurant, a covered teaching pool, and 20,000 square feet of museum space. as well as a cafe, office and commercial space, and parking for 202 vehicles. The project gained a preliminary approval from the city commission, but still need’s a final city vote to move forward.

Yesterday, YIMBY covered the reveal for the upcoming FAT Village East, a massive development set to rise in Fort Lauderdale. Today we shall cover the western portion of the project known as FAT Village West, a 623,292-square-foot mixed-use project proposed to be built in the F.A.T. Village Thematic District yielding 504 units and 28,540 square feet of commercial space. According to the filing, the development is addressed as 501 Northwest 1st Avenue located in the Flagler Village neighborhood, and is designed by SCB with DLR Group as the architect of record and EDSA, Inc. as the master planner; Urban Street Development and Hines are the developers behind the proposal.

A massive 843,770-square-foot mixed-use development may be coming to Fort Lauderdale’s Flagler Village neighborhood thanks to a partnership between Alan Hooper’s Urban Street Development and Hines, the prominent Texas-based real estate developer behind major projects in New York City such as 53 West 53rd Street and 139 East 56th Street. The proposal consists of developing up to 355 multifamily residential units, as much as 45,355 square feet of commercial space, and 149,045 square feet of office space with 1,172 parking spaces in total. FAT Village East (FAT meaning Food, Arts, Technology), has been submitted to Fort Lauderdale’s Department of Sustainable Development-Urban Design and Planning for further review and eventual approval.
