JDS Development Group And Major Food Group Plan A 1,049-Foot-Tall Ultra Luxury Skyscraper In Brickell

Another supertall skyscraper has been proposed for Miami, this time at 888 Brickell Avenue in the city’s Financial District. Prominent New York City-based developer JDS Development Group and restaurant and hospitality company Major Food Group are teaming up to develop Major, a 1,049-foot-tall mixed-use developmentwith the goal of building “the most luxurious residential tower in the world”. The building would rise on a 22,568-square-foot lot at the southeast corner of Southeast 10th Street and Brickell Avenue, and would replace an existing 7-story office building built in 1972. Plans for the supertall include developing 259 condominiums, hospitality spaces, and various restaurants.

AIMCO Plans For Two Luxury High Rises Along Biscayne Bay In Edgewater

Denver-based real estate developer AIMCO is planning to redevelop an assemblage of properties in Edgewater near Biscayne Bay. In their recent Fall 2021 Investor Presentation, the company told investors that they completed the purchase of additional properties beside their Hamilton on the Bay apartment tower, which combined will allow for 1.1 million square feet of new construction. The assemblage is comprised of 10 plots of land approximately totaling 70,000 square feet, which may give way to two luxury residential towers well over 50 stories, and potentially addressed as 640 Northeast 34th Street.

Related Group Seeks Approval To Increase Miami Station Tower To 539-Feet In Overtown

The Federal Aviation Administration has received applications for Miami Station, a 41-story mixed-use building planned for 525 Northwest 2nd Avenue in Miami’s Overtown District. The tower has been submitted seeking approvals to rise 539-feet, or 546-feet above sea level, a significant increase from the previously reported 459-feet seen in the most recent UDRB application. Designed by ODP Architecture & Design and developed by the Related Group, the project is expected to yield 752,859 square feet including 200,234 square feet of office space, 309 residential units, 8,508 square feet of retail space and a parking garage for 510 vehicles. Tate Capital Proposes A 20-Story Tower With 360 Units Designed By Kobi Karp In North Miami

The Planning Commission of the City of North Miami recently reviewed proposals from developer Tate Capital for a new 736,065-square-foot mixed-use project known as Allure North Miami at 1810 Northeast 146th Street. Plans call for the construction of a 20-story building with an adjacent 7-story garage connected via a pedestrian bridge designed by Kobi Karp. The development sites are located in between Northeast 143rd and 146th Streets along Northeast 18th Avenue, within walking distance to Dezerland Park Miami. Allure North Miami is planned rise 220-feet, yielding 360 residential units with 8,429 square feet of retail and 603 parking spaces.

Acclaimed international landscape designer Enzo Enea of Enea Landscape Architecture has been tapped to design the tropical gardens of La Baia, an 8-story luxury boutique bay front condominium development slated to rise at 9201 East Bay Harbor Drive in the southeastern tip of Bay Harbor Islands. Designed by Revuelta Architecture International and developed by the Continuum Company, the 68-unit project is situated on the intracoastal waterway and minutes from the world-renowned South Florida beaches and the Shops at Bal Harbour. Enea is designing a series of spaces including the arrival and private marina access, third level breezeway garden and the roof level amenity terraces.
