New York-based Kushner Co. has a 5.7-acre site in Broward County under contract from 58 Oak LLC and 4220 N 58th Avenue Partners LLC. There, it hopes to build Hollywood Oaks, an eight-story mixed-use venture.
The South Florida Business Journal reports that the project will feature 470 apartments, along with a seven-story parking garage with 813 spots. Plans also call for a 3,500-square-foot standalone synagogue. Communal amenities include various sport courtyards, swimming pool, and 10,300-square-foot clubhouse.
Presently, Kushner Cos. hopes to rezone the build site from “N-MU” to “planned development”. It has a historic single-family home called “Bryan House” on the property, which the developer would incorporate into one of Hollywood Oaks’ courtyards. Doral-based Pascual Perez Kiliddjian Starr Architects & Planners is the architect.
In 2021, the property’s previous owners filed plans to build a $65 million apartment complex, also called Hollywood Oaks. It was to comprise more than 580,000 square feet of new construction in two six-story buildings. However, the project never came to fruition.
If the eight-story Hollywood Oaks moves forward, it’ll be located east of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The site address is 4220 and 4226 N. 58th Ave., Hollywood, FL, 33021, in Broward County.
