Alta Development Proposes 16-Story Short-Term Rental Condo Project At 1418 NW 14th Avenue In Allapattah, Miami

Miami-based Alta Development proposes River District 14, a 16-story condominium project focusing on short-term rentals in the Allapattah neighborhood, just a few blocks north of the Miami River. Designed by Coral Gables-based Behar Font & Partners, the 180-foot-tall structure is planned for a 1.26-acre site at 1428 Northwest 14th Avenue, primarily vacant and bound by Northwest 14th Terrace to the north and Northwest 14th Street to the south. Acquired by the developer for $14.6 million in 2022, the site is positioned a block north of the River Landing retail and apartment complex, providing public access to the riverfront. The proposed building would encompass 414,102 square feet of space, featuring 283 condominiums and 326 parking spaces, including 66 spaces outfitted for electric vehicle charging, with a fitness and business center on the ground floor and an amenity deck complete with a pool on the sixth floor.

Foundation Permit Plan Approved For Pair Of 43-Story Mixed-Use Towers In Downtown Miami

Miami’s Building Department has approved a foundation permit for 222 (Namdar Towers), a 1.3-million-square-foot mixed-use development comprising two 43-story towers at 222 Northeast 1st Avenue in Downtown Miami. Designed by Behar Font & Partners with De Los Reyes Engineering, Inc. as the structural engineer and developed by Great Neck, New York-based Namdar Group, the development is planned to yield 1,394 residential units, 7,984 square feet of ground floor commercial space, 336 vehicles parking spaces, and racks for 1,394 bicycles. Witkin Hults + Partners is the landscape architect, TWR Engineers is the MEP engineer, and Grāef is the civil engineer.

Westpine Partners Files FAA Permits And Requests Administrative Site Plan Review For 42-Story Mixed-Use Project In Brickell

New York-based Westpine Partners has applied for building permits with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and has requested an Administrative Site Plan Review (ASPR) with Miami-Dade County planners for Westpine, a 42-story mixed-use project located at 180 Southwest 9th Street on the western side of Miami’s Brickell neighborhood. The FAA filing shows the developer seeks permission to build a 499-foot-tall structure. The application for ASPR indicates the building would comprise 327,837 square feet of space, including 328 residential units, a ground-floor retail space of roughly 1,155 square feet, approximately 13,850 square feet of open space, and 300 parking spots, all in compliance with the development standards of the Rapid Transit Zone in the Metromover Subzone. Behar Font & Partners is the architect, and Walk Landscape + Urban Design is the landscape architect.
