Hospitality and real estate innovators Standard International, Rosso Development, and Midtown Development have started construction on The Standard Residences, Midtown Miami. Situated at 3100 Northeast 1st Avenue in Midtown, nestled between the Design District and Wynwood, the 12-story building is a collaboration between the internationally acclaimed architecture firm Arquitectonica, renowned interior designer Urban Robot Associates, The Standard’s award-winning in-house design team, landscape designer Naturalficial, and Civic Construction serving as the general contractor. Rothschild & Co. Leases Space At Miami’s 55-Story 830 Brickell Office Tower Slated To Complete Construction This Year

Global financial services company Rothschild & Co. has signed a lease for a 5,000-square-foot office at the upcoming 830 Brickell tower in Miami’s Brickell Financial District. The 640,000-square-foot Class A+ office tower, designed by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill with Revuelta Architecture International as the architect of record and developed by OKO Group and Cain International, is over 90% leased and is expected to complete construction later this year. Civic Construction and Ant Yapi USA are general contractors, with G&E Florida Contractors as the shell contractor and DeSimone Consulting Engineers as the structural engineer.

Construction Completes On 37-Story Cascade At 3050 Southwest 37th Avenue In Miami

Construction is complete on Cascade, a 37-story multi-family building at 3050 Southwest 37th Avenue in Miami. Designed by Arquitectonica and developed by a joint venture partnership between Miami-based real estate developers 13th Floor Investments and Adler Development, in partnership with global investment manager Barings, the building contains 421 modern apartment homes from studios to three-bedroom floor plans, encompassing 510 to 1,323 square feet of space. The project is the second residential tower to be delivered within the 7-acre Link at Douglas master plan, bound by Peacock Avenue to the north, Southwest 37th Avenue (Douglas Road) to the east, Shipping Avenue and South Dixie Highway to the south, and Southwest 37th Court to the west. Civic Construction served as the general contractor for the building, which received its Temporary Certificate of Occupancy (TCO) from Miami-Dade County on Jan. 5.

Okan Tower Gets Slight Height Reduction In New FAA Filing, Permits For Tower Cranes Filed

An October 5th filing at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reveals Okan Tower, the 70-story mixed-use skyscraper planned for 555 North Miami Avenue in Downtown Miami, has gotten a slight height reduction. New building permit applications show the massive tower would rise 893 feet, or 906 feet above sea level, a decrease of 9 feet from the previously planned 902 feet and 915 feet above sea level. The tulip-inspired tower is designed by Behar Font & Partners for developer Okan Group. It will be anchored by Hilton Hotel & Residences and yield 399 residential units mixed between condos and condo-hotel units, a five-star resort-hotel with 316 rooms, 67,588 square feet of Class A office space, and nearly 3,000 square feet of retail/commercial space. Civic Construction is the project’s general contractor, located on the southeast corner of the intersection between North Miami Avenue and Northeast 6th Street.

Citadel Leases 90,000 Square Feet Across Six Floors At 830 Brickell In Miami’s Financial District

Ken Griffin’s Citadel, a multinational hedge fund and financial services firm, signed the largest office lease to date at the under construction 830 Brickell, a 55-story Class A-Plus office tower that just recently topped off in Miami’s Brickell Financial District. The firm is taking up 90,000 square feet of space across six floors at the 724-foot-tall tower, which is designed by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gil Architecture with interiors by Iosa Ghini Associati and developed by Vlad Doronin’s OKO Group and Jonathan Goldstein’s Cain International. Construction is expected to complete later this year, anticipated to yield nearly 640,000 square feet of space. Civic Construction is managing construction with Ant Yapi.
