First Tower For Edgewater Collective Surpasses Podium Levels At 2000 Biscayne Boulevard In Edgewater, Miami

Construction has surpassed the podium levels on the first phase of the Edgewater Collective, a three-towered mixed-use development underway on the western frontage of Biscayne Boulevard abutting Northeast 19th and 20th Streets in Edgewater, Miami. Designed by Fort Lauderdale-based Dorsky + Yue International Architecture and developed by a joint venture between New York-based real estate developer Kushner Companies and Miami-based PTM Partners under the 2000 Biscayne Property Owner LLC, the mixed-use structure is on its way up to an approximate 418-foot pinnacle spread across 36 floors and will contain 637,485 square feet of space including 393 rental apartments, 4,569 square feet of ground floor commercial space, and a parking garage. Balfour Beatty Construction is the general contractor for the development, which is addressed as 2000 Biscayne Boulevard.

On October 19, Miami’s Urban Development Review Board will consider plans for The Edge, a 37-story mixed-use building proposed to rise at 456 Northeast 29th Street in Edgewater, Miami. Designed by Kobi Karp Architecture & Interior Design Inc. alongside Dieguez Fridman Arquitectos & Asociados and developed by a joint partnership between New York City-based real estate developers SB Development and Hazelton Capital Group under the Edgewater Owner, LLC, the approximate 465-foot-tall structure would yield 467,921 gross square feet including nearly 200,000 square feet of residential space spread across 96 units, 5,373 square feet of commercial space and an enclosed parking garage with 135 spaces. Kimley-Horn is listed as both the landscape architect and civil engineer.

South Florida-based Two Roads Development has unveiled plans for EDITION Residences, Miami Edgewater, the luxury brand’s first stand-alone collection of fully serviced condominium residences. Located at 2121 North Bayshore Drive in Miami’s premier Edgewater neighborhood, the 55-story bayfront tower will enjoy over 800 linear feet of frontage on Biscayne Bay and uphold the EDITION brand’s quality of design, services, and amenities. The project will feature 185 bespoke homes showcased in a sleek, 649-foot-tall glass tower designed by visionary architect Bernardo Fort-Brescia, founder of Arquitectonica, with acclaimed interiors by Studio Munge led by Alessandro Munge. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued permits for two tower cranes to build Hamilton on the Bay II, a 649-foot-tall apartment tower soon to rise at 640 Northeast 34th Street in Edgewater, Miami. Designed by Stantec with interiors by Urvanx and landscaping by MAKwork for Denver-based real estate developer Aimco, the 60-story tower will have 241 residential units, 4,696-square-feet of commercial space for a restaurant and a parking garage for 380 vehicles. The planned development will rise on nearly 1.1-acres of combined land parcels between 560 and 640 Northeast 34th Streets, across the street from the developer’s 28-story ‘The Hamilton’ recently renovated apartment tower and directly facing Biscayne Bay.

Twin 485-Foot-Tall Towers At 1900 Biscayne Boulevard Approved By The FAA

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued building permits for twin 485-foot-tall residential towers at 1900 Biscayne Boulevard in Edgewater, Miami. The developer behind the efforts is Kushner Companies, who’s developing both of these towers along with a third tower at 2000 Biscayne Boulevard, collectively known as the Edgewater Collective. The FAA approved building permits yesterday, and will be valid for the next 18 months. Plans for the Edgewater Collective include 1,265 residential units and 24,000 square feet of retail space across three towers.

FAA Building Permits Approved For 497-Foot-Tall Structure At 526 NE 34th Street In Edgewater

The Federal Aviation Administration has approved building permits for a 497-foot-tall structure in Edgewater, Miami. According to the included coordinates, the building would occupy a 22,000-square-foot assemblage of lots including 510, 522, 526 and 532 Northeast 34th Streets. The property is located across the street from the Hamilton on the Bay rental tower, and is just steps away from a dead end on Northeast 34th Street fronting Biscayne Bay. Three of the lots are owned by Nardware Properties LLC, and the other by 510 34th LLC; Hamilton on the Bay III, LLC is listed as the applicant, all of which are affiliates of Denver-based real estate developer AIMCO. The permits were applied for on April 13, 2022, and were approved by the FAA on July 8, 2022, lasting only three months for approvals.

Carpe Real Estate Partners, a vertically integrated real estate private equity and development company, founded by Erik Rutter and David Weitz in 2018, announced a rebrand to Oak Row Equities. The name change comes as the company continues to mature from its launch in 2018 with one property under management to now over three million square feet under development and one billion dollars of assets under management. In addition to the rebrand, Oak Row Equities announced that it has closed on the acquisition of a 2.1-acre site on one of the last remaining undeveloped city blocks in the urban core. The firm acquired 2600 Biscayne Boulevard in Miami’s popular Edgewater neighborhood for $35 million to develop a mixed-use project designed by architecture firm Arquitectonica. Permit applications have been filed with the Federal Aviation Administration for three tower cranes at the development site for Nema Miami, a 39-story mixed-use project in the works at 2900 Biscayne Boulevard in Edgewater, Miami. The development is the first of two phases being administered by Miami-based developer Crescent Heights, which is expected to yield nearly 943,000 square feet of space including 588 apartments, over 50,000 square feet of commercial space anchored by Whole Foods, and as many as 748 parking spots within a 428-foot-tall building. Nema Miami is designed by Arquitectonica with ODP Architecture & Design as the architect of record and New York-based Rockwell Group is handling interiors.

The building would be located across the street from Hamilton on the Bay, also owned by AIMCO, occupying several parcels of land between 560 – 640 Northeast 34th Street. Plans call for the development of a 650-foot-tall structure with 241 dwelling units, 4,696 square feet of commercial space for a restaurant and a new 8-story parking garage for 380 vehicles. Stantec is both the architect and civil engineer. Kimley-Horn is the traffic engineer. Urvanx is the interior designer of record and landscaping will be handled by MAKwork.

Two Roads Development (Two Roads), the developer behind a multitude of successful large scale residential projects in South Florida including the 57-story Elysee Miami and the 52-story Biscayne Beach towers, has unveiled several details on their plans to redevelop a massive 149,000-square-foot bay front property in Edgewater. Poised to become their third development in the neighborhood, the firm is undertaking an ambitious effort to erect three mammoth luxury residential skyscrapers at 2121 North Bayshore Drive. The property is currently improved with the aging 11-story Biscayne 21 Condominium, completed in 1964, and is set to be replaced by structures reaching the maximum allowed FAA height of 649-feet.
