Two Roads Development has submitted plans to the Urban Development Review Board (UDRB) for Biscayne 21, a highly anticipated three-towered mixed-use complex in Edgewater, Miami, at 2121 North Bayshore Drive. The development will feature 705 condominium units across three 649-foot-tall residential towers, 8,433 square feet of commercial space on the ground floor, 971 parking spaces, a comprehensive amenities program, and over 800 linear feet of the new waterfront promenade. The project boasts an impressive lineup of architects and engineers, including Arquitectonica, EDSA, Longitude Surveyors, and Langan Engineering.

Miami’s Urban Development Review Board (UDRB) is scheduled to review plans filed for the Edgewater Collective, a three-towered, mixed-use development at 1900 and 2000 Biscayne Boulevard in Edgewater. 1900 Biscayne Boulevard is a 42-story, two-towered structure designed by Kobi Karp Architecture and Interior Design Inc. with 872 residential units. 2000 Biscayne Boulevard, already under construction, is a 36-story tower designed by Dorsky + Yue International, which will contain 420 residential units. The overall project is being developed by 1900 Biscayne Property Owner LLC and 2000 Biscayne Fee Owner LLC, which are entities tied to a joint venture partnership between New York-based real estate developer Kushner Companies and Miami-based PTM Partners, and will yield 2,022,779 square feet of space including 1,292 residential units, ground floor retail space, and 1,007 parking spaces.

Exterior work is progressing on URBAN22, a 15-story, twin-towered mixed-use development under construction at 2200 Northeast 2nd Avenue in Edgewater, Miami. Designed by G3aec (G3 Design Build LLC) and developed by Melo Group, the project will yield approximately 708,119 square feet of space, including 441 luxury rental apartments, 7,168 square feet of retail space, 5,692 square feet of office space, and 529 parking spaces. The 176-foot-tall towers topped off in August and are located between Northeast 22nd and 23rd Streets, near the border with Wynwood and the Arts & Entertainment District. Melo Group’s in-house construction firm is serving as the general contractor.

Construction is rising on the first phase of Nema Miami, a 39-story mixed-use building at 2900 Biscayne Boulevard in Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood, near Wynwood and Midtown. Designed by Arquitectonica with ODP Architecture & Design as the architect of record and developed by Crescent Heights, the 428-foot-tall structure will yield 588 rental apartments, 42,030 square feet of retail, and a parking garage with 748 spaces. A highly anticipated Whole Foods will anchor the retail space, marking the second location for the national supermarket chain in Miami. Stiles McHugh is the general contractor for the property, which is located between Northeast 29th and 30th Streets.

Designed by Fort Lauderdale-based Dorsky + Yue International Architecture and developed by a joint venture between New York-based real estate developer Kushner Companies and Miami-based PTM Partners under the 2000 Biscayne Property Owner LLC, the mixed-use structure is on its way up to an approximate 418-foot pinnacle spread across 36 floors and will contain 637,485 square feet of space including 393 rental apartments, 4,569 square feet of ground floor commercial space, and a parking garage. Balfour Beatty Construction is the general contractor for the development, which is addressed as 2000 Biscayne Boulevard.

On October 19, Miami’s Urban Development Review Board will consider plans for The Edge, a 37-story mixed-use building proposed to rise at 456 Northeast 29th Street in Edgewater, Miami. Designed by Kobi Karp Architecture & Interior Design Inc. alongside Dieguez Fridman Arquitectos & Asociados and developed by a joint partnership between New York City-based real estate developers SB Development and Hazelton Capital Group under the Edgewater Owner, LLC, the approximate 465-foot-tall structure would yield 467,921 gross square feet including nearly 200,000 square feet of residential space spread across 96 units, 5,373 square feet of commercial space and an enclosed parking garage with 135 spaces. Kimley-Horn is listed as both the landscape architect and civil engineer.

Located at 2121 North Bayshore Drive in Miami’s premier Edgewater neighborhood, the 55-story bayfront tower will enjoy over 800 linear feet of frontage on Biscayne Bay and uphold the EDITION brand’s quality of design, services, and amenities. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued permits for two tower cranes to build Hamilton on the Bay II, a 649-foot-tall apartment tower soon to rise at 640 Northeast 34th Street in Edgewater, Miami. Designed by Stantec with interiors by Urvanx and landscaping by MAKwork for Denver-based real estate developer Aimco, the 60-story tower will have 241 residential units, 4,696-square-feet of commercial space for a restaurant and a parking garage for 380 vehicles. The planned development will rise on nearly 1.1-acres of combined land parcels between 560 and 640 Northeast 34th Streets, across the street from the developer’s 28-story ‘The Hamilton’ recently renovated apartment tower and directly facing Biscayne Bay.

Twin 485-Foot-Tall Towers At 1900 Biscayne Boulevard Approved By The FAA

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued building permits for twin 485-foot-tall residential towers at 1900 Biscayne Boulevard in Edgewater, Miami. The developer behind the efforts is Kushner Companies, who’s developing both of these towers along with a third tower at 2000 Biscayne Boulevard, collectively known as the Edgewater Collective. The FAA approved building permits yesterday, and will be valid for the next 18 months. Plans for the Edgewater Collective include 1,265 residential units and 24,000 square feet of retail space across three towers.
