Woodfield Investments Proposes 41-Story Mixed-Use Tower In Downtown Fort Lauderdale

Fort Lauderdale’s Development Review Committee will review site plans for a new construction 41-story mixed-use building at 520 West Broward Boulevard. The 0.79-acre property is located in the Sailboat Bend neighborhood within the City’s Downtown Core, nestled in between Southwest 5th and 6th Avenues south of West Broward Boulevard. Designed by West Palm Beach-based Spina O’Rourke + Partners with EDSA as the landscape architect and developed by Virginia-based Woodfield Investments LLC, the project comprises of 365 residential units, 2,500 square feet of ground level commercial space, an amenity deck with 53,165 square feet of space and 444 parking spaces. Flynn Engineering is onboard as the civil engineer along with Maser Consulting as the surveyor and Lighting Dynamics Inc. for lighting purposes.

New York-Based Developers Propose A 36-Story Residential Tower For 199 NW 5th Avenue In Fort Lauderdale

A pair of New York-based developers have filed plans with the Development Review Committee of the City of Fort Lauderdale seeking approvals for the construction of a new residential high rise building at 199 Northwest 5th Avenue. The building would rise 364-feet and span 36 stories, featuring designs by Fort Lauderdale-based Dorsky + Yue International Architecture and landscaping by Architectural Alliance Landscape. Station Village Development, LLC, a joint venture between Acquest Development (Acquest) of Williamsville, NY and Uniland Development Company (Uniland) of Amherst, NY, is listed as the owner of the application. Plans for the development include 432,800 square feet of new construction which would yield 400 residential units, 4,798 square feet of ground floor retail space and a parking structure for up to 550 vehicles.

An application has been filed with the Development Review Committee seeking approval for the construction of 418 Lofts, a 53-unit residential development located at 418 Northeast 2nd Avenue in Flagler Village, Fort Lauderdale. The building is proposed to rise 311-feet on a vacant development site situated a block Northwest from the Greyhound Bus Station and just west of the proposed URBN Flagler Village project, bound by Northeast 4th Street to the south and Northeast 5th Street to the north with Northeast 3rd Avenue to the east. The Tamara Peacock Company Architects is onboard as the design architect with EDSA as the landscape architect and Flynn Engineering as the civil engineer. The owner of the application is 418 NE Ave LLC, an entity based in Brooklyn, New York and led by developer Joseph Scarpinito.
