Construction is rising on the first phase of Nema Miami, a 39-story mixed-use building at 2900 Biscayne Boulevard in Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood, near Wynwood and Midtown. Designed by Arquitectonica with ODP Architecture & Design as the architect of record and developed by Crescent Heights, the 428-foot-tall structure will yield 588 rental apartments, 42,030 square feet of retail, and a parking garage with 748 spaces. A highly anticipated Whole Foods will anchor the retail space, marking the second location for the national supermarket chain in Miami. Stiles McHugh is the general contractor for the property, which is located between Northeast 29th and 30th Streets.

Today, we’re taking a look at Asher Residences, a dynamic, highly-amenitized new 22-story apartment tower at 1050 Water Street designed by Morris Adjmi Architects alongside ODP Architecture & Design as the architect of record. Miami-Dade County’s Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources will consider the general site development plan resubmitted for 888, an 81-story supertall mixed-use skyscraper propped for 888 Brickell Avenue in the heart of Miami’s Brickell Financial District. Designed by Studio Sofield with ODP Architecture & Design as the architect of record and solely developed by Michael Stern’s JDS Development Group, the 1,048-foot-tall structure is planned to provide 1,178,568 square feet of space including 259 residential units, 52,144 square feet of health/fitness, 38,727 square feet of food and beverage, and 273 parking spaces operated by a valet. The application is pursuant to Section 33C-15 of the County Code of Ordinances for the Property, filed on October 4, 2022.

The development is the first of two phases being administered by Miami-based developer Crescent Heights, which is expected to yield nearly 943,000 square feet of space including 588 apartments, over 50,000 square feet of commercial space anchored by Whole Foods, and as many as 748 parking spots within a 428-foot-tall building.
