Waldorf Astoria Miami Submitted To Urban Development Review Board And Unveils New Renderings

The highly anticipated Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences has been submitted to Miami’s Urban Development Review Board for approvals. With the application now made public, specific details and new renderings have been revealed for Miami’s first supertall skyscraper. New York City and Miami-based Property Markets Group and Canada-based Greybrook Realty Partners are planning on building a 93-story mixed-use building designed by Sieger Suarez Architects in collaboration with Carlos Ott. The tower would rise 1,036-feet, or 1,048-feet above sea level, and span 1,608,457 square feet across 9 glass offset cubes including 461 residential units, 205 hotel rooms, high-end amenities and 1,321 square feet for commercial uses; an adjacent structure of 431,862 square feet will built for 694 parking spaces.

Glass façade installation at the podium levels has surpassed the halfway mark on Society Biscayne, a 49-story mixed-use skyscraper at 400 Biscayne Boulevard in Downtown Miami. Designed by Sieger Suarez Architects and developed by Property Markets Group in collaboration with Greybrook Realty Partners, the 571-foot-tall structure will comprise of approximately 1 million square feet of new construction, bringing a mixture residential units, office spaces, a church, ground floor retail and a parking garage, while offering panoramic views of Biscayne Bay and Downtown Miami.

Demolition permits have been filed for 20 Northeast 11th Street, the property where the Sieger Suarez Architects-designed 65-Story E11EVEN Hotel & Residences is planned. Located in Miami’s Park West neighborhood, the interior lot is bound by N. Miami Avenue to the west, NE 11th Street to the north, NE 1st Avenue to the far east, and NE 10th Street on the south. ArX Solutions has released a new rendering of Dezer Development’s upcoming residential project titled Bentley Residences, a 749-foot-tall cylindrical skyscraper proposed for 18401 Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach.
