Related Group’s 321-Foot-Tall ‘The Gallery At West Brickell’ Is Submitted To The FAA

The Federal Aviation Administration has received applications seeking approvals for The Gallery at West Brickell, a 321-foot-tall mixed-use project planned for 201 Southwest 10th Street in West Brickell, Miami. Designed by CM Design & Development and developed by Miami-based Related Group along with Miami-Dade County, the project would rise 29 stories at the northwest corner of Southwest 2nd Avenue and Southwest 10th Street, and yield approximately 465 income-restricted residential units, 2,238 square feet of office space, 2,338 square feet of retail and up to 529 parking spaces. The applications for the height approvals were submitted on October 28, 2021.

Detailed Massing Renderings Revealed For Two 848-Foot-Tall Towers At The MiamiCentral Complex

A new batch of detailed-massing and aerial renderings have been revealed for two new towers at the MiamiCentral complex, a 3-million-square-foot mixed-use railroad station development located primarily addressed as 600 Northwest 1st Avenue in the western perimeters of Downtown Miami. The renderings reveal in more detail two nearly identical 848-foot-tall primarily residential skyscrapers spanning 83-stories each, potentially addressed and referred to as One MiamiCentral, featuring designs by Borges + Associates Architects and developed by prominent developer Florida East Coast Industries, the parent company of Brightline.

Lions Group NYC Purchases Development Site Of Planned 53-Story M Tower In Miami

The development site of an already approved 53-story mixed-use building planned for Downtown Miami was recently sold to a prominent New York City developer. The two parties in the transaction are the seller Downtown 56 LLC, an affiliate of S2 Development, and the buyer Downtown 1st Street LLC, an affiliate of Long Island-based Lions Group NYC. The 16,718-square-foot site traded hands for $10 million, and that includes the addresses 56 Southwest 1st Street and 65 Southwest 2nd Street, including the air rights to the adjacent city-owned parking structure at 70 Southwest 1st Street. Lions Group NYC intends to follow through with the existing plans for the new building.

BTI Partners’ Twin 35-Story Towers Receive FAA Approval To Rise 416-Feet In Hollywood, Florida

Fort Lauderdale-based developer BTI Partners can now move forward with Hollywood Young Circle, two twin 35-story mixed-use towers proposed for 1701 East Young Circle in Hollywood, Florida. The Federal Aviation Administration has cleared the way for the project to rise 416-feet above sea level as of July 6, 2021 and deems the structures structure would have no substantial adverse effect on the safe and efficient utilization of the navigable airspace by aircraft or on the operation of air navigation facilities. The towers will feature designs from Zyscovich Architects, yielding a combined 1,906,796 square feet including 802 residential units, 112,297 square feet of retail space, and 72,054 square feet of office space.

Renovation Of 155 South Miami Avenue Progresses In Downtown Miami

Renovation work is progressing at 155 South Miami Avenue, a 13-story office building at the northeast corner of South Miami Avenue and Southeast 2nd Street in the Flagler District of Downtown Miami. Moishe Mana of Park Realty Enterprise LLC is the owner and developer behind the transformation of the 166,000-square-foot structure, which was originally built in 1980 and held federal immigrations offices. The partial demolition and interior renovation of the building will make way for what will become known as the Nikola Tesla Innovation Hub, named after the famed inventor and electrical engineer.
