Chetrit Group Lands $310 Million Loan From Madison Realty Capital For The Kobi Karp-Designed 6.2-Acre Miami River Mega Project

The Chetrit Group’s vision for the 6.2-acre Miami River may finally come to fruition after landing a loan to begin construction. The New York City-based developer was granted $310 million in financing from Madison Realty Capital for the first two phases of the 4.2 million-square-foot mega project in Brickell, which is comprised of building the first of four towers and the additions and improvements to the riverwalk. The deal was arranged by Henry Bodek of Galaxy Capital Group, and is collateralized by the land for the last three phases. Kobi Karp is the architect for development, which will ultimately yield 1,928 residential units, 330 hotel rooms, 196,882-square-feet of retail space, and 98,040-square-feet of office space across multiple glass-clad towers along with boat slips, an outdoor theater, a residents lounge, a business center, a state-of-the-art gym, a pool, and a café.

Proposals Reveal A 15-Story Hotel With 132 Units In Fort Lauderdale

The Development Review Committee of the City of Fort Lauderdale is now reviewing proposals for 2025 East Sunrise Boulevard, a 15-story commercial building near Victoria Park and Lake Ridge neighborhoods. The development would rise on a vacant 18,949-square-foot lot west of the Middle River, bound by the East Sunrise Boulevard bridge crossing into Coral Ridge on the south and the East Point Towers residential complex on the north and west along North Federal Highway. The project is designed by Miami-based Beilinson Gomez Architects and being developed by Sunrise 2025 LLC, planned to yield 132 hotel units with 108 parking spaces.

New York-based developer The Chetrit Group awaits permitting for their plans to build four 60-story rental skyscrapers along the Miami River. Designed by Kobi Karp, the pending tower cluster titled Miami Riverwalk Towers is addressed as 275 Southwest 6th Street in the north-western perimeters of the Brickell neighborhood, spanning 20 plots of land bounded by SW 3rd Ave. to the west, SW 7th Street to the south, SW 2nd Ave. to the east, and SW 5th Street to the north while also adjacent to the river waterfront and nearby the Interstate-95.

Construction on the Arlo Wynwood, a 9-story mixed-use hotel, is making notable progress in Miami’s Wynwood Arts District. Designed by NBWW Architects and developed by Quadrum Global, the ground up hotel is addressed as 2217 Northwest Miami Court, occupying the southwestern corner of the interior lot with frontage along Perimeter Road as well. Exterior Work Nears Completion On CitizenM Hotel In Brickell, Miami

Exterior work is nearing completion on the newly constructed CitizenM Brickell, 277-foot tall hotel in Miami’s Brickell neighborhood. Addressed as 955 South Miami Avenue, the building is designed by Gensler and developed by CitizenM Hotels, a hospitality brand founded by hotelier Rattan Chadha. The 21-story hotel will include 252 lodging units, mostly micro-sized rooms starting at 157 square feet, and up to 4,174 square feet of commercial space at the ground floor.
