This nine-story residential building in Miami Beach, designed by the esteemed Arquitectonica with landscape architecture by Within Hults + Partners, adds 178 new units to the city’s housing market, establishing it as a premier location for upscale rental accommodations. Kaufman Lynn Construction, serving as the general contractor, recently showcased a video on LinkedIn celebrating the topping ceremony. JGR Construction, Inc. oversees the structural work, and US American Concrete oversees concrete tasks. Coastal Metal is responsible for metalwork, while AKO Plumbing Corp is the plumbing contractor. Morrow Equipment has two tower cranes at the site. Doka USA provides formwork solutions, and NV5, Inc. handles construction materials testing.

Designed by OMA with interior design by Tara Bernerd & Partners, the 213-foot-tall structure will offer 73 ultra-luxury residences, ranging from 2,100 to 6,700 square feet, in addition to eight private guest suites exclusively for residents. Groundbreaking for this project is expected in early 2024; Moss Construction is the general contractor.

Planned for 600 72nd Street, just south of Surfside, the project, tentatively named 72B, is part of the firm’s initiative to contribute to the Miami Beach neighborhood. It will feature commercial spaces on the ground floor and has been designed by Arquitectonica. Douglas Elliman Development Marketing has been assigned exclusive sales and marketing for the project.

Construction has topped off on Lefferts’ 22-story luxury condominium tower 72 Park. The developer celebrated the topping off of the 220-foot-tall structure on Wednesday, September 13, which stands prominently at 580 72nd Street in Miami Beach. Designed by the renowned national architecture firm Built Form with interiors and landscapes by Urban Robots Associates, 72 Park will be the first new luxury tower on Miami Beach to permit short-term rentals, encompassing 206 units ranging from 470 to 1,177 square feet, as well as 10,000 square feet of prime, ground-floor retail space. Stiles Construction is the general contractor, and G&E Florida Contractors is the shell contractor, with completion slated for the Summer of 2024.

New York-based Shvo and its partners have secured a $190 million construction loan for the renovation and condominium addition at The Raleigh hotel at 1775 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach. The loan, provided by Fort Lauderdale’s BH3 Management through its BH3 Debt Opportunity Fund II, supports the partnership between Shvo, led by Michael Shvo, and the German firm Deutsche Finance. The loan encompasses The Raleigh, the Richmond Hotel at 1757 Collins Avenue, and the South Seas Hotel at 1751 Collins Avenue. The transaction was brokered by Walker & Dunlop.

Denbora Bay, LLC, a Lake Worth, Florida-based company led by a group of individuals from Buenos Aires, Argentina, is identified as the applicant in a recent project filing submitted to Miami Beach’s Design Review Board. Known as the Denbora Bay project, the development encompasses 6,996 square feet of space, featuring seven residential units and four parking spaces. Red Octopus LLC, an architecture and planning firm based in Weston, FL, led by Argentine architects Yanina Mauro and Walter Rua, represents the developers in the filing, with MUVE Architecture listed as the architect.
