The primary mat foundation placement has been completed for Art House, a 42-story residential building under construction at 235 1st Avenue South in downtown St. Petersburg. Designed by SB Architects with interiors by ID & Design International and developed by Delray Beach-based Kolter Group, the 450-foot-tall structure will house 244 condominium units, 6,100 square feet of ground floor retail along Central Avenue and 3rd Street South, and a 482-space parking garage. Kimley-Horn is the landscape architect, Smith & Associates Real Estate exclusively handles sales, and United Landmark Associates handles marketing.

YIMBY stopped by 300 West Tyler Street to check on the construction progress of the 346-foot-tall ‘Aer’ (Arts & Entertainment Residences) in Downtown Tampa, designed by Cube3 Architects and developed by a joint venture between American Land Ventures and Gazit Horizons. The 31-story tower, which recently topped out, is located in the heart of the River Arts District, directly across from the Straz Center for the Performing Arts, bound by West Tyler Street on the north and west, West Cass Street on the south, and North Macinnes Place on the east. The project will yield 334 residential units, a parking structure lined with 13,802 square feet of ground-floor retail space, and 514 parking spaces above it. Coastal Construction is the general contractor.

This 18-story mixed-use project, designed by Arquitectonica and dedicated to affordable housing for low-income seniors, has reached its top floor. On Thursday, June 15, the traditional topping-off ceremony was commemorated at the 249 Northwest 6th Street project site. Onda Residences, a 41-unit residential building project developed by Ugo Colombo of CMC Group and Valerio Morabito of Morabito Properties, has topped off construction at eight stories. Located along Biscayne Bay at 1135 103rd Street, the architect behind the project is Bernardo Fort-Brescia of Arquitectonica. Enzo Enea of Enea Garden Design is designing landscape architecture, and Carlo and Paolo Colombo of A++ Human Sustainable Architecture are handling interior design. Coastal Construction is the development’s general contractor and will complete construction later this year.
