After reaching completion in 2022, Skyway Lofts is getting a second phase. Dubbed “Skyway Lofts II,” the venture will feature 66 affordable housing units, with many reserved for those making 60 percent of the area median income (AMI).
Nearly four years after its initial reveal in 2020, Ad Lofts could soon start construction. The St. Petersburg project will offer six townhomes above 5,000 square feet of retail space.
A major expansion of the historic Cordova Inn is ongoing in downtown St. Petersburg. The project will expand the hotel’s capacity by 193 percent—increasing the hotel room number from 32 to 94.
An affordable housing complex could replace a mobile home park in St. Petersburg. The Point Apartments will comprise 17 apartments.
The Cara Apartments has met its end in St. Petersburg, Florida. Erected in the 1920s, the property was not viewed as historically significant by the City of St. Petersburg. So, it was demolished this past week for new development.
