Seven on Seventh seeks to alleviate the housing crisis in South Florida. The mixed-use housing development will include “72 residential units, ranging from studios to two-bedroom apartments,” per the Broward Partnership.
Miami-Dade County has received an application requesting for an Administrative Site Plan Review from Sulmona Ventures LLC, who has submitted a proposal to construct 266 affordable housing units, also known as workforce housing, across 2 new mixed-use buildings of 7 and 8 stories in the evolving Naranja district. The project’s title is Waterside for the time being, and is located at 27077 South Dixie Highway, on the corner of SW 145th St. The buildings will be designed by Coral Gables-based Behar Front & Partners, and will eventually rise on 4.78 acres of land encompassing well over 200,000 square feet of total lot area.
A new residential development is coming soon to Fort Myers, FL. Overseen by Habitat for Humanity, the $1.8 million complex broke ground in the second quarter of 2020. The development will comprise 150 single and multi-family homes. The community has been dubbed “Heritage Heights.”
Arts on Broadway is residential development coming soon to Palm Beach County, FL. The project is estimated to cost anywhere from $4.5 million to $6 million. Ideally, it will come to fruition sometime in June 2021.
The City of Miami Beach is considering the construction of a 7-story building dedicated to Artist Workforce Housing near Collins Park. Addressed as 224 23rd Street, the interior lot is on the northwest corner of the block, bounded by Liberty Avenue to the west, 22nd Street to the south and Collins Avenue to the east. The Miami Beach Boardwalk is just a block over, and the project is being developed through a public-private partnership between the city and developer Servitas, LLC.
