Renderings from Coral Gables-based SB Architects reveal a 30-story mixed-use tower proposed for 513- 517 Northeast 6th Street in Flagler Heights, Fort Lauderdale. The project was unveiled in a site plan application filed with the Development Review Committee submitted by Flagler Sixth, LLC, which is led by developers Steven W. Hudson and Charles B. Ladd Jr. Plans for the 330-foot-tall building include 628,978 square feet of new construction containing 320 dwelling units, 29,607 square feet of commercial space, and 447 on-site parking spaces with 66 off-site spaces. Architectural Alliance Landscape is listed as the landscape architect with Sun-Tech Engineering, Inc. as the civil engineer.

The Real Deal notes that the Related Group sold New River Yacht Club for $85 million to BJ Verde Properties in August 2021.

Brightline Breaks Ground On Zyscovich Architects-Designed Boca Raton Station

Brightline, the only provider of modern, eco-friendly, intercity rail in America, breaks ground on its new Boca Raton station with Kaufman Lynn Construction, Inc. as the
construction manager for the garage and train station. Once completed, the station will be Brightline’s fifth operational in Florida, connecting travelers from Boca Raton to Miami, Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and soon Orlando. Located on a 1.8-acre site across from Mizner Park and adjacent to the downtown library, Brightline’s Boca station, designed by Zyscovich Architects, will feature approximately 38,000 square feet of space which will include its signature autonomous MRKT and premium lounge among other station amenities. The station will offer a seamless travel experience through modern technology, including a cashless environment, touchless turnstiles and high-speed WiFi. Brightline’s Boca station is expected to be complete in the fall of 2022.

Plans have been filed with the Development Review Committee for 10 Hendricks Isle, a 5-story marina-front residential condominium building located in Fort Lauderdale. Designed by FSMY Architects + Planners and developed by Hendricks Group LLC, the proposal includes the construction of a 55-foot-tall structure with situated on a 30,000-square-foot parcel of land, projected to yield 52,440 square feet of space including 16 dwelling units and 35 parking spaces. The property is located just off of Las Olas Boulevard in between Venice Isle and Nurm Isles. Renderings from Sieger Suarez Architects have been revealed for two identical towers of 40 and 45 stories proposed as a mixed-use development at 300 and 330 North Andrews Avenue in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. New York City and Fort Lauderdale-based developer BH3 is planning on developing 1,428,920 square feet of space across two 500-foot-tall structures including 612 residential units, 56,317 square feet of commercial space across the first two levels, and a 7-story parking garage with 890 parking spaces. The proposed height for the towers would add them to the ranks of the tallest buildings in Fort Lauderdale if approved. EGS2 Corp is listed as the landscaping architect with Orlando-based Graef as the civil engineer.

The Federal Aviation Administration received applications seeking approval for a 596-foot-tall structure, or 600-feet above sea level, in Downtown Fort Lauderdale on January 6, 2022. The coordinates listed in the applications indicate the building would be generally located on the southern portion of the city block bound by Southwest 2nd Street (Himmarshee Street) on the South, Southwest 4th Avenue on the West, Nugent Avenue on the East and West Broward Boulevard on the North. The property borders the 4.2-acre development assemblage where Broward Crossing is planned. Tavistock Development Plans Three 480-Foot-Tall Towers At Pier Sixty-Six In Fort Lauderdale

Orlando-based real estate developer Tavistock Development Company has revealed preliminary plans for three conceptual luxury high rises at Pier Sixty-Six in Fort Lauderdale. Designed by renown architecture firm Arquitectonica, the towers would rise 480-feet over the marina and Stranahan River – two south of the 17th Street causeway and one west of the Pier Sixty-Six Hotel; the additional towers would yield 130 units each, with four on each floor. Tavistock purchased the Pier Sixty-Six complex at 2301 Southeast 17th Street in 2016 for a cool $165 million, and is already redeveloping the areas surrounding the hotel with 76 new condo units across two buildings, 39 waterfront villas and 12 single-family homes – expected to reach completion by 2024.

Plans to build Fort Lauderdale’s tallest building have been submitted to the Development Review Committee for 300 West Broward Boulevard, a 48-story mixed-use development proposed to rise in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. The property is more specifically located in the Sailboat Bend neighborhood near Las Olas and Beverly Heights, fronting West Broward Boulevard to the north in between Southwest 4th Avenue and Nugent Avenue to the west and east. The tower would conveniently rise approximately 2 blocks away from the Brightline Fort Lauderdale train station and the Riverwalk north of the New River. K-A 300 Broward JV LLC, a joint between New York-based Kushner Companies and Denver-based AIMCO, is listed as the developer – who have the development under contract from FTL/AD LTD.
