Related And Merrimac Secure $94.2 Million To Construct The Crosby At Miami Worldcenter

The Related Group and Merrimac Ventures have successfully secured a substantial $94.2 million in funding for the vertical construction of The Crosby, which is poised to add more density to the ongoing developments at Miami Worldcenter. The residential tower is set to ascend 33 stories high and is expected to top off at around 377 feet above ground, or 390 feet above sea level, according to building permits filed with the FAA in January. The Arkansas-based Bank OZK provided the loan to DT G Block LLC, a joint venture entity affiliated with the developers. Cohen Freedman Encinosa & Associates and AVRO|KO is in charge of the architectural design and interiors of the project, respectively. The Crosby, which broke ground earlier this year, is slated to offer 450 fully furnished, ready-to-rent residences and 3,370 square feet of retail space on the ground floor.

The Federal Aviation Administration is reviewing building permit applications for The Crosby, a 33-story mixed-use building planned at 601 North Miami Avenue within the 27-acre Miami Worldcenter mixed-use complex in Park West, Downtown Miami. Designed by Cohen Freedman Encinosa & Associates and developed by Related Group and Merrimac Ventures under the DT G Block LLC, the project will yield 450 fully finished and furnished condominium units spread across 387,355 square feet with interiors by AvroKO, as well as 22,000 square feet of amenities and 3,370 square feet of retail space. Beauchamp Construction is the general contractor for the project.

The Federal Aviation Administration has approved permits for work on 501 First Residences, a 40-story residential building under construction at 501 Northeast 1st Avenue in Downtown Miami. Designed by Revuelta Architecture International and developed by Aria Development Group with AQARAT, the building will have over 400,000 square feet of space, including 448 fully-furnished luxury condominium units featuring interiors by Shim Projects and 3,127 square feet of commercial space. Beauchamp Construction is serving as the general contractor.

Developers Break Ground On WNWD21 At 2150 N. Miami Avenue In Wynwood, Miami

Located in the heart of the Wynwood at 2150 North Miami Avenue, the project is designed by Cohen Freedman Encinosa & Associates with interior design from ID & Design International (iddi Design). Beauchamp Construction Company is spearheading the construction, with completion expected for the third quarter of 2024.

Both designed by Arquitectonica and developed by New York City’s Kushner Companies in collaboration with Miami-based Block Capital Group, the project will yield a combined 152 luxury residential units, 46,000 square feet of office space, 33,500 square feet of retail, 232 parking spaces and featuring a courtyard and three roof decks.
