Related And Merrimac Announce 31-Story ‘The Crosby’ At Miami Worldcenter

The Related Group, one of South Florida’s most active condo developers, and Merrimac Ventures, led by the Motwani Brothers, have teamed up for the development of The Crosby, a 31-story residential tower announced to rise at 601 North Miami Avenue within the 27-acre Miami Worldcenter complex. The project is comprised of 450 fully furnished units ranging between 350 square feet to 825 square feet, configured in studio, one-bedroom and two bedroom floor plans; over 22,000 square feet of amenities and 4,000 square feet of ground floor commercial space. Residences at The Crosby will have no rental restrictions, meaning owners will have the option to offer their units as short-term rentals. Miami Lakes-based Cohen Freedman Encinosa & Associates, the architect behind the 43-story Caoba tower, is leading the design with New York City-based AvroKO named as the interior designer.

Miami-based Developer MV Real Estate Holdings (MVREH) and Coral Gables-based hospitality investment firm Driftwood Capital are pleased to announce Riverside Wharf, a $185 million – 200,000-square-foot hospitality-driven entertainment complex situated along the edges of the historic Miami River in Downtown Miami. Located at 114 Southwest North River Drive beside the I-95, the development is comprised of two 10-story towers that will offer a fully immersive Miami experience anchored by the highly amenitized 165-key Dream Miami luxury hotel by the internationally renowned Dream Hotel Group. The final design plans have been unveiled for the Nikola Tesla Innovation Hub, a 13-story office and commercial building undergoing a complete gut renovation and redesign at 155 South Miami Avenue – the northeast corner at the intersection with South 2nd Avenue in the Flagler District, Downtown Miami. Originally built in 1980, the revamp of the structure will bring 137,000 square feet of office space and 6,000 square feet of commercial space. Developed by Moishe Mana of Mana Common and designed by award-winning architecture firm Zyscovich Architects, the project is being geared towards the emerging tech industry in Miami with the hopes of attracting major technology companies and innovative startups.

Built in 1971, the building spans 45,465 square feet and is tucked in the southeast corner of the junction between Southwest 1st Avenue and Southwest 8th Street. The interior lot is approximately 21,210 square feet and bordered by multiple high-rise structures including the 48-story Soltair Brickell Apartments on the east and the 30-story Brickell Bayview Center on the south. Gazit Horizons Brickell LLC, an entity linked to Tel Aviv-based real estate magnate Gazit Globe, is the owner of the application.

Core formwork has reached several levels above ground on NATIIVO, a 51-story mixed-use building under construction at 601 Northeast 1st Avenue in Downtown Miami. The 588-foot-tall structure is designed by international architecture firm Arquitectonica and developed by Sixth Street Miami Partners LLC. The development is planned to yield nearly 932,859 square feet of combined space between a mix of dwelling and lodging units, office spaces, retail venues and a parking garage. Located just south of the Miami Worldcenter complex, the property is bounded by Northeast 1st Avenue to the west, Northeast 6th Street to the south and Northeast 2nd Avenue to the east.

Construction is rising rapidly on Downtown 1st, a 57-story mixed-use building under construction in Downtown Miami’s Central Business District.
