The development, situated on a 2-acre site at 1101 East Harrison Street in Tampa’s Encore district, will feature a 178-key hotel, announced as an Element by Westin. LD&D is collaborating with Dynamic Group Management on this 10-story hotel development.
Kolter Urban has selected Moss Construction as the general contractor for ONE Tampa, a pivotal development poised to redefine the skyline of Downtown Tampa, located at 507 North Ashley Drive. Newbond Holdings (Newbond), a real estate and hospitality-focused investment platform, announces the acquisition of the Aloft Tampa Downtown Hotel. This transaction marks Newbond’s third hotel investment on the Downtown Tampa riverfront in the last 24 months, totaling more than 700 hotel rooms and over 800 feet of frontage on the Hillsborough River. Located on the Riverwalk in Downtown Tampa, the 130-key hotel offers abundant indoor and outdoor amenity space, including a waterfront pool and gym, corporate meeting and event space, and a bar and lounge. Newbond is planning a comprehensive hotel renovation to include all guestrooms, public areas, and the pool deck.
YIMBY stopped by 300 West Tyler Street to check on the construction progress of the 346-foot-tall ‘Aer’ (Arts & Entertainment Residences) in Downtown Tampa, designed by Cube3 Architects and developed by a joint venture between American Land Ventures and Gazit Horizons. The 31-story tower, which recently topped out, is located in the heart of the River Arts District, directly across from the Straz Center for the Performing Arts, bound by West Tyler Street on the north and west, West Cass Street on the south, and North Macinnes Place on the east. The project will yield 334 residential units, a parking structure lined with 13,802 square feet of ground-floor retail space, and 514 parking spaces above it. Coastal Construction is the general contractor.
