1940 Apartments LLC, a Sunny Isles Beach-based entity led by Erwin Sredni, Jonatan Sredni, and Scott Albus, has submitted plans for a transformative 5-story multi-family residential project at 1940 Bay Drive in the Normandy Isle area of Miami Beach. Envisioned by Revuelta Architecture International, with Gardner + Semler taking the helm for landscape architecture, the proposed 55-foot-tall structure is set to replace the existing 23-unit apartment complex, introducing 12 modern condominium units running from 2,807 to 3,019 square feet to the locale. This agreement is essential for providing services to the building, marking notable progress in this pre-construction phase of the project. Designed by Revuelta Architecture International and featuring interiors by Designagency, the development is a joint venture between Aria Development and Merrimac Ventures under the 55 NE 6TH ACQUISITION LLC. The 327-foot-tall structure is set to rise at 600 Northeast 1st Avenue, bordered by Northeast 6th Street to the south and train tracks to the north. OneWorld Properties is exclusively managing sales and marketing for the project. Miami’s Urban Development Review Board recommended approval for 600 MWC in July.

Pompano Beach’s Tallest Building Approved By The FAA To Rise 353 Feet

The Federal Aviation Administration has issued permits for a new condominium tower that is set to become the next tallest building in Pompano Beach. The upcoming building is the already announced 32-story oceanfront Beach Tower, planned for 1380 South Ocean Boulevard, as part of the Ritz Carlton Residences Pompano Beach. This development is a joint venture partnership between Fortune International Group and Oak Capital. With approval to rise 353 feet, it will surpass the current tallest structures, the 334-foot-tall Pompano Beach Club towers, which have held this title since their completion in 1975. The Beach Tower, facing the Atlantic Ocean, will be joined by a smaller 14-story, 88-unit Marina Tower across the street along the Intracoastal Waterway, designed by Arquitectonica.
