Moss Construction has been awarded the construction of Villa Miami, a waterfront residential development in Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood. The project, a collaboration between Major Food Group, David Martin’s Terra, and One Thousand Group, is set to break ground later this summer.
Miami’s Urban Development Review Board has received another application for a 55-story tower at 419 Northeast 19th Street in Edgewater. The project, initially filed in October 2023, is scheduled for review on July 17 and has undergone several updates and modifications. The development team for this project includes architectural design by Fogarty Finger Architecture & Interiors, DLR Engineering, Inc. as the structural engineer, JALRW Engineering Group as the MEP engineer, Kimley-Horn as the civil engineer, VDA Consulting Services as the elevator consultant, and SLS Consulting as the life safety consultant. 419 NE 19th Street Owner LLC, a joint venture between SB Development led by Joseph Stern and Hazelton Capital Group, based in New York, has formally requested the UDRB to consider the project at its upcoming meeting.
ELLE Residences Miami will bear the ELLE name as part of a licensing agreement signed with Lagardère Médias News, owner of the ELLE brand. Designed by Behar, Font & Partners and developed by Urban Network Capital Group (UNCG) and Vertical Developments, the 25-story condo will feature 180 units, with short-term rentals permitted. Through affiliate Residences at 5th Avenue LLC, the developers filed plans earlier this year for the 19,292-square-foot site at 445 and 455 Northeast 36th Street and 3618 and 3630 Northeast Fifth Ave in Edgewater. The site was acquired for $13.5 million in 2023.
Grupo T&C, a prominent developer from Peru, has announced Edge House Miami, a 55-story luxury condominium designed for home-sharing, located at 1825 Northeast 4th Avenue in Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood. The project, designed by the internationally recognized architect Kobi Karp, will offer fully finished and furnished residences with interiors by the renowned Adriana Hoyos Design Studio. The residences will vary in size from 375 to 1,242 square feet, featuring a range of layouts including studio, one-bedroom, one-bedroom plus den, and two-bedroom options. The units are designed with nine-foot-high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and, in select residences, private outdoor terraces to enhance the indoor-outdoor living experience. Edge House Miami will provide turnkey residences, comprehensive amenities, and services and is strategically located for easy access to Miami’s Design District, Midtown, Downtown, Brickell, and Miami Beach.
Crescent Heights has announced the commencement of an expansive art project in the heart of Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood. Renowned artist Arturo Herrera was commissioned to create a 9,350-square-foot mural named Track & Field, which will grace the east podium façade of Forma Miami, a 39-story, 588-unit residential tower designed by Arquitectonica with ODP Architecture & Design as the architect of record spanning nearly a full city block at 2900 Biscayne Boulevard. We Are Nice’n Easy, a celebrated local art collective of Allison Matherly and Jeffrey Noble, will meticulously hand-paint the mural throughout the following few weeks.
