YIMBY Checks In On The Progress Of Kushner’s WYND 27 and WYND 28

YIMBY recently visited the sites of WYND 27 and WYND 28, two mixed-used buildings of 5 and 8 stories currently under construction at 127 Northwest 27th Street and 129 Northwest 26th Street in Wynwood, Miami. Both designed by Arquitectonica and developed by New York City’s Kushner Companies in collaboration with Miami-based Block Capital Group, the project will yield a combined 152 luxury residential units, 46,000 square feet of office space, 33,500 square feet of retail, 232 parking spaces and featuring a courtyard and three roof decks. Beauchamp Construction is the general contractor for both structures.

Revuelta-Designed 79-Unit Mixed-Use Building Proposed For 3025 & 3051 SW 3rd Avenue In Coral Way, Miami

An new application is under review by Miami’s Urban Development Review Board seeking approvals to develop Ambienta Brickell, an 8-story mixed-use building proposed to rise at 3025 Southwest 3rd Avenue and 3051 Southwest 3rd Avenue just south of Brickell in the Coral Way neighborhood of Miami. Designed by renown design firm Revuelta Architecture International and developed by Chile-based Ambienta Inmobiliaria – listed as Ambienta Brickell Corporation- the plans for the development call for a 102,817-square-foot structure that will yield 79 residential units, 1,195 square feet of office space, 912 square feet of ground floor retail and 120 parking spots.

The Wynwood Design Review Committee has received applications seeking approvals for 29N, a 964,963-square-foot mixed-use development in the Wynwood Arts District on a 2.9-acre site. Developed by New York City-based developers L&L Holding Company and Carpe Real Estate Partners, the building will be comprised of two interconnected structures of 8 and 12 stories spanning two transect zones addressed as 95 Northwest 29th Street. Gensler is responsible for the design of the project, which will yield 523 residential units, 26,372 square feet of commercial space, 200,618 square feet of office space and 668 parking spaces.

In recent times, the Related Group has been accelerating their expansion plans with the announcement of several new towers and developments as Miami’s next construction cycle begins. The City of North Miami Beach has granted the approval for the construction of Canal Park West Tower, a 10-story office building planned to rise in the Eastern Shores district along the canal connected to Maule Lake. The subject’s site is located at 3227 Northeast 163rd Street, alternatively known as Sunny Isles Boulevard, and is being developed by Canal Park Office 2 LLC, an affiliate company of Namnum Developers LLC, and designed by Idea Architect.

However, when confronted with the sudden influx of condos, apartments, and houses, the firm changed gears. The City of Sunrise, home to Sawgrass Mills Mall, is expecting a new city hall. The current structure, which is a stark contrast to the updated buildings around it, will be demolished sometime within the next year. The new 100,000 square foot facility will serve as office space for city employees, utility offices, and local politicians.

Renderings Revealed For Miami Design District Commuter Rail Station + Conceptual Towers

Renderings and drawings have been unveiled in a presentation to City Commissioners of Miami for the plans to build a commuter rail station along Brightline’s tracks connected to two towers in the Design District. The new station would be built just north of the Interstate 195 and south of NE 39th St., parallel to North Federal Highway, and the towers along Biscayne Boulevard. Miami Design District Associates, a joint venture between Craig Robin’s Dacra and L Catterton Real Estate, is the developer behind the recent presentation, and principal owner of the thriving Miami Design District.

Yesterday, YIMBY covered the reveal for the upcoming FAT Village East, a massive development set to rise in Fort Lauderdale. Today we shall cover the western portion of the project known as FAT Village West, a 623,292-square-foot mixed-use project proposed to be built in the F.A.T. Village Thematic District yielding 504 units and 28,540 square feet of commercial space. According to the filing, the development is addressed as 501 Northwest 1st Avenue located in the Flagler Village neighborhood, and is designed by SCB with DLR Group as the architect of record and EDSA, Inc. as the master planner; Urban Street Development and Hines are the developers behind the proposal.
