Microsoft Inks Lease At OKO Group And Cain International’s 55-Story 830 Brickell

Microsoft is officially expanding their presence in Miami as the tech industry continues to grow within the city. They have has announced that the company will be taking up 50,000 square feet of office space at the 55-story 830 Brickell, a 724-foot-tall Class A office tower currently under construction in the city’s Brickell Financial District. Rising as the first office tower to be built in the city in over a decade, the developers behind the efforts are OKO Group and Cain International, the duo behind several new projects in Miami such as Una Residences and Missoni Baia. The developers were represented by the Cushman & Wakefield team of Brian Gale, Ryan Holtzman and Andrew Trench. Microsoft was represented by Alexander Brown, Executive Vice President with Colliers International.

34-Story ‘The Edge’ Mixed-Use Tower Set To Rise Later This Year In Downtown Orlando

Orlando’s urban core is poised to see new large scale developments as Dallas-based real estate developer Lincoln Property Company may soon begin construction on  The Edge, a 34-story mixed-use skyscraper set to rise approximately 400-feet over the Downtown area some time during the fourth quarter of this year. The tower is expected to rise at 225 South Garland Avenue, just north of the developer’s 28-story SunTrust Plaza completed in 2020, replacing the former club/venue replacing the former Ballroom at Church Street Station. Designed by architect Baker Barrios, the project will yield 230 residential units, 200,000 square feet of office space and 4,000 square feet of retail.

Uber Inks Lease At EQ Office’s 3 MiamiCentral In Downtown Miami

On August 10, 2021, ride-hailing technology company Uber announced the signing of a new lease for office spaces at 3 MiamiCentral, a 130,157-square-foot transit-oriented 12-story mixed-use building located in the Overtown district of Downtown Miami. The company will occupy 13,000 square feet of the 95,000 square feet that the Class A office component has to offer. Officially addressed as 161 Northwest 6th Street, the structure is designed by AECOM with Design2form as an architectural consultant and currently owned by EQ Office, a real estate investment company managed by New York City-based Blackstone.

Related Companies Submits Application To FAA For 456-Foot-Tall Structure In West Palm Beach

The Federal Aviation Administration has received an application requesting approvals for the construction of a 456-foot-tall structure in Downtown West Palm Beach. The addresses included in the application are 809 South Flagler Drive, 838-844 Chase Avenue and 134-142 Lakeview Avenue. The aforementioned properties are all owned by New York City-based Related Companies, one of the developers behind Hudson Yards, who just recently closed on the 2.5-acre development site for a cool $20.1 million last month.

Conceptual Renderings Revealed For Jaguars Football Performance Center In Downtown Jacksonville

Conceptual renderings have been revealed for the Jacksonville Jaguars Football Performance Center proposed for Jacksonville’s Sports and Entertainment District. The reveal is part of the August 12, 2021 Agenda for the city’s Downtown Development Review Board, in which the plan calls for the construction of an approximately 127,087-square-foot facility designed by Rossetti Architects. The application was filed by Cyndy Trimmer of Driver, McAfee, Hawthorne & Diebenow, PLLC, and is seeking approval from the review board. Jacksonville Jaguars, LLC and the City of Jacksonville are co-developing the project.
